A crowded D.C. Council race is again exposing the racial undercurrents of city politics, sparking a battle over who should wield power in a gentrifying place once known as Chocolate City.
Washington, D.C., went from majority to plurality Black a decade ago, and the electorate has since grown younger and Whiter. Black moderates worry they are in danger of being sidelined by a new generation of politicians intent on pushing a national liberal agenda.

Group projects have been the thing in schools for decades. Teachers have fewer papers to grade, the weak are carried by the strong, all get a passing grade/blue ribbon and all learn not to strive individually.

With this in mind, maybe the RATs will decide to NOT give statehood to DC as they’re planning to do.

If you can believe it, Marion Barry opposed the ultra-radical gay “marriage” vote in D.C. when he spent his last term on the D.C. Council.

Blacks have always been a small minority of the population. What helped them was the ENORMOUS supply of good will from the white population that they had.
Contrary to what the racial agitators say, most white people cared about the plight of blacks, and wanted them to do well and become prosperous fellow Americans.
This good will has been seriously eroded lately.

My son has lived in DC for years. I asked him about the changes. He said that there are a lot of young people who are transient. They are living in DC but are not part of the the politics. They have there jobs live in DC for awhile and then move on.
He lived on Flagler PL. in 2016.
