The common MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine may protect against Covid-19. Journal article at link.

This may explain why kids are less affected by COVID.
Interesting
This is definitely not funny.
That makes sense thats probably why the kids arent having the problem the elderly are...
The vaccine should work for adults as well. Or does the protection wear off?
Well, thats good! I just drank a bottle today!
This has been postulated for a few months. First time I saw the theory was by a mathematician
I was doing some more research on this, and this idea was actually published in another journal way back at the beginning of June. Why the heck didn’t they just start giving everyone MMR vaccinations back then? Oh, yeah, then they wouldn’t have had 200,000 deaths to hold over Trump’s head at the election. Fauci and company should be brought up on charges:

If CCP members and their friends have already taken the MMR vaccine, they might not tell anyone else.

Widespread use of MMR vaccines in kids started in the early 70s. I’m turning 60 next week, so I, and those around my age, never received them as kids. Plus it looks like immunity may wear off after about 20 years. But the MMR is cheap and available right now.
I wonder if the nearness of the MMR vaccinations for school children has something to do with why they are not as affected by the viur?... Like the immune response is still at a high enough level to ward off the virus, but with old dudes like me at 75 it is beyond weal response?
Makes sense. All the critical cases tend to be elderly. They have never received the vaccine. Of course that’s not the only factor but it’s interesting if it turns out to be true that MMR vaccines are effective against COVID-19. Even if its only 50% effective, it could be the difference between life and death.
Interesting that this is gaining traction now that the election is about to conclude.
“First time I saw the theory was by a mathematician”
Non-binary, gender-fluid, racially tolerant math or homophobic, transphobic, racist math?
I had measles and rubella as a kid so I wonder if that gives immunity.
Well put! Now that this is known, a full blown effort to vaccinate with the MMR vaccination should proceed.
So, there have been claims that MMR (which I had at age 22) offers protections. And there have been claims that blood type O (which I have) offers protections. Well, then I guess it’s party on!
