Torres-Small has no chance unless Trump’s margin in the district is seriously underwhelming. Few are gonna split tickets for Trump and some bitch who voted to impeach him.

Oh, my bad I misunderstood. Since I don't in live in NM I'd much rather he win the Senate race. 😂

That’s my point. Fracking/oil seems to be a very big deal in NM, especially the eastern part of the state. I expected this editorial to focus on that topic, but it barely acknowledged it.

NM Reps are voting in full force.

Same-day registration is in place through 10/31. 37% of RVs (as of 9/30) have already voted. See article.

New Mexico on track to set record for early voting turnout

Right now the Dems are outvoting Republicans by about 4:1, using the numbers in this article. Looks like IPEV started on 10/6 and ends 10/31. As of 9/30 the NM SecState reports Dem RVs at 45.4%, GOP RVs - 31.1%, and Indie - 21.6%. On 11/3/2016, when Trump lost by 8.3 points, registered voters favored Dems by 16 points (47% - 31%, with 19% Indies).

Gist: Compared to 4 years ago there are fewer Dem voters, more Republicans and more independents. With a 3-point net GOP advantage (from 2016) and no Gary Johnson on the ballot, if Republicans show up strong on 11/3 they have a shot at making some Democrats cry.

And this article breathlessly reports on voter intimidation... by Trump supporters! LOL

By 10/23:
Dems: 251,051 of 603,000 voted (41.6%)
Reps: 168,560 of 413,000 voted (40.8%)

Pretty much keeping up with them proportionally.

Yet here are the total numbers from that article:

Dem - 249,945
GOP - 63,949

That's quite the difference, huh?

I think we tend to forget these Three BIG ISSUES our POTUS has delivered on:

1.Wall and security
2.Crude oil, natural gas, and coal production help place New Mexico among the nation’s top 10 energy producers. Crude oil, natural gas, and coal production make New Mexico one of the top 10 energy producers in the nation.
3.Guns

****Trump tweeted back, “Working hard in New Mexico. … Will be there soon.” The president also says he built “the Wall” and “will totally protect your Second Amendment. (The Dems want to obliterate it.)”

The Trump administration has completed 20 miles (32 kilometers) of construction along the 185-mile (300 kilometer) section of New Mexico’s southwestern border with Mexico, according to Department of Homeland Security data from Sept. 14.

Dozens of additional miles in New Mexico are listed as under construction or “pre-construction,” including longer sections south of Deming and Santa Teresa, just west of El Paso, Texas.

NIKK...My comment
We tend to forget the horror stories of 2016 and families living on the border towns. It had gotten to the point of not being able to leave their family members home by themselves as they went into town. They also had to keep their families in the car until they searched their land when returning. Many times people coming through the border were a big threat to their lives. Stories of killing families and the once friendly crossing were no more.

You bring up a very good point on the border wall, for NM, AZ and TX. (Should list CA, too, but...)

Partner, you are so correct on Fracking for oil and gas, which the state of NM has a lot of oil and gas.

Partner, I do not want to say this out too loud but they have found a 1.6 Billion barrels of oil field just South of Hobbs, N.m. and close to Carlsbad, N.M. and the field just crosses into Texas. This field is quite large.

Another Freeper told me that there is a lot of lithium underneath the soil in NM.

Well, let’s hope Trump wins re-election so NM, TX and others can benefit from this very large discovery!

I am sorry to say that I missed this event until it was over, but the Trump campaign was featuring a NM campaign event today on its website.
