There is one overriding issue in this campaign. Its not abortion, immigration or judicial nominations, as important as they are.
When your house is on fire, dont make plans to redecorate. Theres a fire raging in America which could consume our country. This isnt hyperbole. Its reality. If the revolutionaries seize control, nothing else will matter in the long run.
Weve seen it time and again. We saw it in the streets of Paris in 1789, in Moscow in 1917 and in Germany the early 1930s the marches and sloganeering, the rage, the murderous violence, the attacks on authority, the chaos, and the insistence that only a revolutionary vanguard understood the will of the people.
The enemy was aristocratic privilege, or an antiquated monarchy, or capitalist exploitation or the Jews. This time, its carefully orchestrated charges of institutional racism, police brutality, and an unjust economic system.
We used to say it cant happen here. Thats what some Germans told themselves during the Weimar years. How could a country so educated, so cultured -- the center of scientific research and medical advancement -- elect a gang of murderous cretins? They did.
In the 18th century, France epitomized refinement in art, architecture and literature. French was the language of most European courts, the language of diplomacy. Then came the guillotine.
And America?

Excellent post!
History doesn’t repeat but it certainly rhymes.
“The barbarians are always at the gates.”
In our case the barbarians are well inside the gates.
In my case, they're living across the street.
When a person talks about harming you, best to take it seriously.
Banned for? Violent posts?
Not on our block, too many folks have guns.
“How could a country so educated, so cultured — the center of scientific research and medical advancement — elect a gang of murderous cretins? They did.”
Hitler was appointed chancellor by Hindenberg. Is the author unaware of that?
Fire Wray.
While we're legally purchasing guns with background checks, the Antifa/BLM network receiving smuggled full-auto conversion kits and illicit military small arms. Possibly even GPMGs and RPGs.
The soyboys walking around with Airsoft guns is a put-on.
Almost no one is aware of the real history.
Hitler LOST his election bid to replace Hindenburg as President of Germany. The Nazis did not win a majority of seats in the Reichstag, either. So, they had the opportunity given the plurality party in any parliamentary democracy to try to form a coalition government. They pulled a fast one and made Hitler their candidate for Chancellor, or Prime Minister. They cobbled together a coalition government. Within six months the Nazis had pulled off a coup from within the government and imposed a dictatorship.
The German people did not vote for this.
So, who is talking about this kind of stuff in America? How about the party who wants to pack the Supreme Court and Senate and think a President (of their party) can rule with his pen?
Wow, written by my favorite Eagle.
I have hope in two things, with regard to the imposition of a dictatorship in the US.
1. The military swears an oath to the Constitution, not the President. I don’t expect the military to go along.
2. 100,000,000 gun owners and 300,000,000 guns.
Either of those will prevent success of a coup.
A point made in the following linked video, which is an important summary of what is currently transpiring...
“This time, its carefully orchestrated charges of institutional racism, police brutality, and an unjust economic system.”
I would like to see this fleshed-out a little more. I don’t entirely agree.
The whole St. Floyd thing seemed like the same crap video that HRC and her cronies scrounged off the Internet to cover their crimes in Lybia.
None of the so-called “victims” of racism promoted nationally to justify what has been occurring even come close to the “victim” status that would justify the claims. The claims of “systemic racism” look more like a train-wreck, to me, so I don’t see the “careful orchestration”.
