A tweet from the National Public Radio Public (NPR) Editor on Thursday on the day of the presidential debate explained why the taxpayer-funded news outlet has been ignoring the growing scandal surrounding former Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and the familys business dealings in China.
Why havent you seen any stories from NPR about the NY Posts Hunter Biden story, the tweet said. We dont want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we dont want to waste listeners and readers time on that stories that are just pure distractions.
The tweet included the link to a newsletter written by Kelly McBride, who is with the Poynter Institute, the so-called gatekeeper for good journalism.
McBrides justification for ignoring the real and growing scandal involving Joe Bidens family, and now his vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), is:
There are many, many red flags in that New York Post Investigation. NPR Media Correspondent David Folkenflik detailed most of them Intelligence officials warn that Russia has been working overtime to keep the story of Hunter Biden in the spotlight. Even if Russia cant be positively connected to this information, the story of how Trump associates Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani came into a copy of this computer hard drive has not been verified and seems suspect. And if that story could be verified, the NY Post did no forensic work to convince consumers that the emails and photos that are the basis for their report have not been altered.
In fact, Breitbart News reported on what has unfolded and been verified since the New York Post report on the Bidens broke, even as Twitter and left-wing media such as NPR continue to censor the news. Breitbart News reported:

From the outfit which covered “Kony” as though it was a “real” story.

That is why I quit wasting my time listening to NPR 30 years ago. Although, I will admit on long trips, if an NPR station is playing classical music and I’m in a talk radio “desert”, I’ll listen to it.
From NPR: “ . . . we dont want to waste listeners and readers time on that stories that are just pure distractions.”
I guess that explains why they ignored the entire ‘Russian election interference’ story for three years !
Tell me again, Mitch, why we chose not to defund them?
Newsweek, to which I had a subscription thanks to my parents, had something like 58 consecutive covers devoted to Nixon and Watergate.
There was a paper somewhere that took to putting all Watergate-related stories in an easy-to-pull-out section so people could discard it if they wanted.
Hopefully with that tweet, NPR wrote its own death warrant.
Pull the plug on them already!
It would be cool if NPR showed that kind of determination in refusing to take our Tax Dollars.
This liberal conspiracy of silence has the side effect of letting fact checkers label truth-tellers as liars, because “trusted” liberal sources didn’t verify it.

Any listener of NPR tunes in to waste time.
No problem wasting our money though.

NPR is the one program the Dem Party faithful listen to...like a daily church service. If NPR ran the Biden corruption stories it would result in a large number Trump Haters jumping out of windows. They could not handle the truth.

Ah we now have proof positive that the NPR HQ is in Mos Eisley.
And that Obi-Wan had NPR in mind when he uttered the famous quote, “...wretched hive of scum and villainy”.
We all know that pack of losers would have the success of Yugo if they did not rely on dumb*ss liberal and government tits. (Yup, used that word to OFFEND liberal Obamaholes.)
