News to Know for Oct. 22: Woman shot, man stabbed; Henrico school board Absentee or early voting? Here is the best way to vote in 2020, according to CNN logoNorth Carolina is the center of the political universe as the state's demographics shift dramatically

Donald Trump has a math problem in North Carolina.
The state the President won by more than 3 percentage points four years ago has continued its gradual political transformation, moving away from the red states to its south and toward its bluer neighbors to the north. The transformation has been propelled by a mix of factors: The state is growing more diverse with Hispanic and Asian immigrants, its cities and suburbs are booming with unbridled growth from northern transplants, older voters from the northeast who are fleeing Trump have retired to the state's coast and the Tar Heel State's once large rural population is shrinking.

WTF??? How is Trump forcing Yankees, I am one, to flee their Northeast Corridor states. Yankees are fleeing the Blue policies of high taxes and high costs.
They leave their states in shambles.
Then move from NY and CA and vote for demonrats elsewhere.
A plague of locusts.
yeah, I saw that too! WTF!
how is it “fleeing TRUMP” to move from the northeast to the south?
What kind of twisted liberal logic is that!?!?!?
But the locusts feel good with their
“Everyone is Welcome” signs written in 6 different languages.
The Northeast is mostly DEEP Blue!? Most folks I know are moving to NC to get away from Democrat/Deep Blue States.
OH. CNN reported by MSN.
Nevermind.
I know several NY families that relocated to NC. They are all voting for Trump!
“Then move from NY and CA and vote for demonrats elsewhere.”
Red states need walls. They destroy everywhere they go.
Wish in one hand, crap in the other CNN. Trumps going to win NC again. So will Tillis.
An Appeals Court just approved North Carolina counting votes for 14 days after the election. Whatever it takes for the democrats to win.
Aside from the hilarious assertion that snowflakes from the Northeast are fleeing Trump dominance in those ultra-red (proper color usage) Trump-hating states, their idiocy and wishful thinking about North Carolina is reflected in the current voter registration stats as compared to 2018:
D: -86,697
R: +89,394
I: +198,716
Compared to 2016:
D: -133,756
R: +113,276
I: +390,562
Although their reasoning is ludicrous, the article may not be wrong at all as far as the outcome of the 2020 election in North Carolina. This ain’t no “slam dunk” for Trump or Tillis and, like it or not, Cooper is still favored to win again.
Get ACB seated on the Supreme Court. Then revisit Pennsylvania and North Carolina rulings. It wont matter what Roberts does after she is seated.
My son just moved from CA to NC just last month. Charlotte is some kind of banking headquarters of the US apparently.
Sad to say his is not a Trump vote (but not Biden either)
... older voters from the northeast who are fleeing Trump... I was trying to decipher that bizarre sentence as well. All I can come up with is Trump has so taken up residence in the reporters mind that his inner monologues is literally just Trump, Trump, Trump, over and over.
Or, the northeasterners are fleeing cities where they might happen to see Trumps name on a hotel. I am informed there are people who claim they wont go to downtown Chicago anymore because they cant stand seeing the sign on the Trump.
I pray that people who dont want to vote for Trump dont want to vote for Biden either.
I am shocked by that last part. I know a number of right-leaning voters in NC who don't care for Trump but are ready to crawl over broken glass to vote against Cooper over the lockdowns.
The more-optimistic polls show a close race for now, but then they show close races EVERYWHERE now.
That’s better than showing Democrats winning in blowouts, but in the vote fraud-rich environment that 2020 is in swing states like North Carolina — which may be the “swingingest” one of them all right now — what’s the probability of Republicans winning close elections in Democrat-controlled states, especially when they won’t be decided until days or weeks after the fact, until Democrats manufacture all the fraud they need?
