Interesting polls show James up 1 point and Trump down 12. Such a mish mash of garbage polling. My polls are the turnout for their rallies.

Gardner, McSally, Collins, and Daines are in some trouble...

Also, Linda Grahamnesty is in a tight race...

I do think these races will tighten as the election draws nearer and Trump starts to surge toward the end, which is starting to happen..

There may be some overall backlash in these Senate races to the Barrett appointment...

I could see Trump winning and the Senate falling by one seat to Chuckie Schumer...hope not...

That’s why that John James surge could conceivably be the deciding race...?

I think that’s a fair analysis though I think Collins will win her race (she always does). It will be tight. Hope James can do it.

He’s such a good candidate doing anything else would shred what’s left of their credibility.

If it’s close one of the GOPers will flip the Senate to the Dems. Murkowski most likely. So they need to control the Senate by at least two seats.

“one of the GOPers will flip the Senate to the Dems. Murkowski most likely.”

Excellent point!...I’m still not too feeble-minded to forget Jumpin Jim Jeffords doing this to the Pubbies a couple of decades ago...

Murkowski is very possible, but I think she’s up for re-election in 22 and plans to run for the Pubbie nomination...

Collins might jump should she be re-elected...but, it might be too close to the election...she’s only 67 and might want to run again in 2026...

My money would be on Mittens to do a Jeffords inward 2-and-a-half backstabbing layout...just to thwart DJT...

Every time Collins is supposed to lose, but she never does, often disagree with her, she may seem shaky, but she does know how to walk that tightrope.

#31 Re “Collins” and “but she does know how to walk that tightrope”. So did Papa Wallenda or one of his sons.

“Oops”!

“What do you mean, oops?”

I agree. It’s looking very iffy that we keep the Senate, which obviously would be a disaster as there’s also a pretty good chance that Biden is going to pull this out (sacrilege, I know - just keeping it real).

John James may just be the one win that keeps Schumer from becoming majority leader. Let’s hope so..
