Singer Linda Ronstadt has called President Donald Trump the “new Hitler” and said that “Mexicans are the new Jews,” adding that she believes separating children from adults at the border is a “violation of human rights laws.”
The Grammy-winning singer told The Guardian that she was horrified when Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign at Trump Tower in New York. “As soon as Trump came down that escalator and called Mexican rapists, I said, ‘This is the new Hitler and Mexicans are the new Jews,’” she told the newspaper.
Ronstadt told Salon in a separate interview that she wants to see immigration laws changed, adding that Mexican migrants deserve better treatment. “They contribute so much,” she said.

Does Linda know that crossing the border illegally and working here illegally are illegal, and that when you do illegal activities, you can get arrested and separated from your children if you’ve brought your children illegally along with you? Someone should explain this difficult concept to her, and then ask her what she thinks when Mexico cracks down even harder on illegals coming into that country from the south.

You'd hope that 50 more years of life would be kind to her mind if not to her looks. But no.
Back in the 70s I saw her once in concert. Good show. There was no political commentary btw. Just the usual pander of how nice it was to be in whatever town.
Linda Ronstadt had a really good voice, but she was essentially a cover singer who sold a sexy image that she can't sell anymore because her sex appeal is long gone.
