At the beginning of NC early voting, Democrats were leading Republicans in returned mail ballots by roughly a 54% to 16% spread. That spread has now been reduced to 43.70% to 27.48% after 6 days of early, in-person voting (note: the Democrats have out-voted Republicans on all 6 days of in-person voting, but each day Republicans have cut the Democrats' raw vote margin).
On the first day of early, in-person voting, Democrats cast approximately 75K more ballots than Republicans. Yesterday, Democrats cast 3K more ballots than Rs, which means that tomorrow Republicans will very likely win the "raw vote" in early voting for the first time.
In 2016, Democrats went into Election Day with a 310,000 early vote lead and LOST NC by 3.8 points. Democrats currently lead Republicans in EV by approximately 350K votes. That 350K lead looks like the Democrats' Pickett's Charge in North Carolina, because Republicans should win most--if not every--of the remaining days of early voting.
Continued below
1) The Democrat universe of voters is older and more rural than the Democrat voter file. Also, white male "unaffiliated" voters are doing very well.
2) Someone tell Cotto & Gottfried to calm down.
Ping
There are a lot of Trump Democrats, I suspect.
Exactly. BTW, that NC Democrat advantage of 350K is equivalent to the 310K advantage they had last time b/c of population increases. Republicans should win the balance of early voting. The bigger problem for the Democrats is that the more conservative, rural Democrats have come out in big numbers....and they ain’t votin’ for riots.
From your lips to Gods ears ... I believe N.C. is also accepting ballots several days after Election Day
Plus many more democrats than republican will switch parties for President.
good point
And now a federal judge is trying to counter by letting the state extend the counting of mail-in ballots to nine days after the election (as long as they’re “postmarked” by election day).
Just googled and confirmed 34% of NC voters are registered as unaffiliated or a third party.

Yep, any state that allows this - just go ahead and count it as a win for Biden.
Cotto was off the rails with the ACB nomination and I couldnt deal with him anymore. Got into a few scrapes and just ended up unfollowing him. His only rational discussions these days are when he has Basham on his show.
Do remember: Cooper promised Biden that they would drag Cunningham over the finish line.
That expansion of counting days gives the advantage to Dems as they manufacture as many votes as they need.
I think Trump will carry Independents here like he did last time.....people like me...ie White male Independent. I know I voted straight ticket Republican.
If I am reading these percentages correctly, it looks like 30% of early votes have been by Independents.
Brought my friend with me who is registered U/A. He voted for Trump this year. Said, he hadn’t planned to vote. Sometimes people just want company to go to the polls.
Reach out to friends and family, who may be apprehensive about going alone. Could make all the difference.
It boggles the mind how someone can actually vote for old demented Joe and his commie sidekick. These assholes have to be defeated.
Nobody but a few die-hard Dems are actually voting for Biden.
It’s all done with Nanzi’s voter fraud.
If the ballots are postmarked by election day, it is irrelevant if they take 4 hours or 4 weeks to count them. If the margin is large the state will still be called for a winning candidate. If the margin is small, then lawyers for both candidates will descend on the state.
Today, I voted early.
It was different. There were many, many more than usual.
The voters were not all gray heads. There were many, perhaps even more younger folks. Usually, all those present have gray hair.
For the first time ever, there were black folk present. I have never seen early voters who are black. I actually knew two of them.
I voted (NC) day before yesterday. Wife voted today. Daughter and S-I-L voted on opening day. That’s 100% of the R’s in my family.
