1) The Democrat universe of voters is older and more rural than the Democrat voter file. Also, white male "unaffiliated" voters are doing very well.

And now a federal judge is trying to counter by letting the state extend the counting of mail-in ballots to nine days after the election (as long as they’re “postmarked” by election day).
Just googled and confirmed 34% of NC voters are registered as unaffiliated or a third party.
Do remember: Cooper promised Biden that they would ‘drag Cunningham over the finish line’.
That expansion of counting days gives the advantage to Dems as they manufacture as many votes as they need.
I think Trump will carry Independents here like he did last time.....people like me...ie White male Independent. I know I voted straight ticket Republican.
If I am reading these percentages correctly, it looks like 30% of early votes have been by Independents.
It boggles the mind how someone can actually vote for old demented Joe and his commie sidekick. These assholes have to be defeated.
I voted (NC) day before yesterday. Wife voted today. Daughter and S-I-L voted on opening day. That’s 100% of the R’s in my family.
Am I the only one who believes that scores of Democrats will vote by mail, and then show up on election day and vote again in person? The cross checks between which ballots have already been received (or postmarked ON Election Day) and who shows up to the polls is VERY poor. If a person drops their ballot in the mailbox on Nov 3rd morning (or previous day) and shows up to vote in person there will be no record of ballot received. So their vote will be double-counted. This will be a mess on Election night.
