Of course, Trump is fully aware that the Leftist media will frame questions in a way that gives them the best opportunity to edit his answers to make him look bad. He likely agreed to the interview precisely because he wanted to play them, while they are in their lair hacking up the interview.

Actually it's not clear who has more, since it's very difficult to count all those watching the internet streams or re-broadcasts. (In regards to those watching the live shows on tv/cable, 60 Minutes averages about 10 million viewers, which Tucker gets around 5 million.)

Rush Limbaugh occasionally tells a story about an interview that one U.S. news show (maybe "60 Minutes") was going to do with Anwar Sadat back in the 1970s. They said the interview would be shown in a 20-minute segment on the show, and they would spend about two hours interviewing him.
He told them that he wouldn't do the interview unless they aired the whole thing. He basically said: "If you are going to show a 20-minute interview of me on U.S. television, then I'll give you 20 minutes of my time and you won't edit any of it."
From what I understand, they agreed to his terms.

I think an intereview like this, the risk involved, the obvious gotcha moments they are looking for, should preclude these interviews. Now whatever happened will become a distraction from Biden Crime Family Corruption.
