During a press conference on Monday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced the creation of a Scientific Safety Review Workgroup that will review vaccines that are approved by the FDA.
Newsom said, “California, today, is launching now, more formally, a Scientific Safety Review, a workgroup of 11 individuals, experts in their field. These are top health experts that will independently review any FDA-approved vaccines. The question I often get is, are you going to take someone’s word for it, as it relates to vaccines? Of course, we don’t take anyone’s word for it. We will do our own, independently-reviewed process, with our world-class experts that just happen to live here in the state of Californ

I wonder when they’ll get around to “independently reviewing” the effectiveness and the harmful side effects of the lock downs that they’ve been imposing.
First Cuomo, and then Newsom. Makes me believe that Trump will be announcing a vaccine before the election.
Californians are so very different from the rest of the Nation, why ever do they associate with us I wonder?
I think that California politicians may be in for a rude shock in the next election. Not all of them but some of them.
And what if I don't want to take your word for it? Can I make my own decision about whether I want to be vaccinated?
If there is a vaccine then any emergency funds should immediate be pulled back(btw I think this is all BS but as a political move)

This ties in with that stupid comment by Kamala that she doesn’t trust what Trump says about the vaccine development.
Apparently the talking points have gone out to all Democrats, that we can’t trust Trump on the vaccine. Ok then........
Can I ask a stupid question to Gavin? If he doesn’t trust what Trump or others say about the vaccine, why should we trust him? If the issue is, we don’t trust anyone on the virus status, then why should we trust him?
If the issue is that we all need to independently verify whether we should get the virus, why should we automatically put trust in him? Because he’s a good Democrat?

Two substories to this whole virus thing that are completely irrelevant to me:
1. vaccine
2. Number of cases.
Those are just political noise as far as I’m concerned.
Kind of funny to see the “Science Party” go full Anti-Vaxx for political reasons. Being a Dim means never having to acknowledge your hypocrisy.
Nope. That would be called "freedom." Freedom went out with bell bottom pants and Cher's first cosmetic surgery appointment.
Now the goverment can rule "Show your vaccination record" for anything (dental appointment, gaetting any type of license, school, entrance to a building including a restaurant....). Gretchen Whitmer, Cuomo and Newsom have flexed their macho muscles in the Covid crisis and love that power trip so much they'll never let us have "freedom."
Oregon’s Gov. Kate brown and Wa. Gov. Insle were first at blocking a vaccine with this tactic. They already blocked HCQ

As a federalist, I don’t have a big problem with this.
This is a state that can’t keep people from crapping and pissing in the streets. But they’re going to “review” a vaccine. Uh, ... yeah...
