New Jersey is almost certainly going to go Democratic in this years presidential race. That doesnt leave a lot for us deep thinkers to pontificate about.
But then theres the keystone county in the Keystone State. Thats Bucks County, Pa., according to Charles McElwee of RealClearPolitics. He recently wrote an excellent analysis in which he termed the county the ultimate suburban bellwether.
So I was intrigued when I got an email from a reader informing me of a pro-Trump motorcade that would be held on Saturday just across the Delaware.
Alex Armstrong told me the rally was organized not by the Trump campaign but by the owner of a gym in the unbearably quaint and upscale town of Newtown. The Trump faithful were to gather there and proceed in a motorcade a few miles north to Doylestown, also unbearably quaint and upscale.
Go a bit west, however, and you might as well be in Indiana. In the last election, rural Pennsylvania went big for Trump while Philadelphia and the five counties surrounding it went for Hillary Clinton.
But Clinton won Bucks by a mere 2,700 votes. A margin that small was a disaster for Clintons statewide hopes according to one pol quoted by McElwee.
That piqued my interest and on Saturday morning I decided to see for myself just what trouble might be in store for the campaign of Pennsylvania native Joe Biden.
I put the address into my phone so I wouldnt drive by and miss it. But there was no chance of that.
As I approached, I saw vehicles bearing Trump flags for as far as the eye could see farther even, since they occupied both the main road and the roads going back into the office parking lots...

Hahahahah - cant wait
My joke—if aliens landed most anywhere in the rural parts of the US these days, they would think the name of the town was “Trump”.

This Is What A Beverly Hills Trump Rally Really Looks Like -

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report shares what its like to go to a Trump rally in Beverly Hills. While Beverly Hills, CA is not the first place that comes to mind when thinking of a weekly Trump rally, there has been quite a turnout of all kinds of Trump supporters. Dave gives a glimpse of all the people the mainstream media pretends dont exist like Blacks for Trump, Latinos for Trump, gays for Trump and more.
Wait, what? New Jersey, deep thinkers? We being cat fished? (No offense to our Jersey FReepers)
The script has flipped in Bucks.
Blue collar, farmers, poorer areas and unions are all for Trump.
Upper middle class (lots of transplants from NJ and Philly) are all for Biden.
look up “be like water” on youtube. They show Beverly Hills rallies when there is one...seems like everyday.
Look at this when you get down
Imagine that, Mr. Mulshine.
Fascinating piece. I lived in nearby Pennington, NJ-—a a fairly upscale semi-rural/suburban area. It was a silk-stocking Republican area then-—nothing like this!
Thank you. I watch them every day and post them online and send the links to a friend in Israel!! The people in Israel are worried because all they get is the MSM BS from the USA. They have no idea how well DJT is really doing.

“The ultimate suburban bellwether”???
Shouldn’t an “ultimate bellwether” get the Presidential outcome right a little more often than Bucks does? What that county really is, is reliably Democrat though marginal. Unless Gore, Kerry & Hitlery really were President, in which case their bellwether record is perfect lately.
Like the entire Philly area, though perhaps less drastically than Chester, Delaware or Montgomery Counties, Bucks has turned red (proper color usage) big-time since the Gingrich Revolution of the mid-1990s and has really accelerated in the past decade or so. They once were solidly Republican here (though rarely conservative) and they’re still marginal in Bucks, but probably not for much longer.
