The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) has adopted a new rule ahead of Thursday’s second and final presidential debate and will silence the microphone of the candidate who does not have the floor during the uninterrupted two-minute periods at the start of each segment.
The Commission cited their prior announcement to consider “additional structure” to future debates following the first presidential debate with moderator Chris Wallace. The first debate saw several interruptions from both candidates and Wallace. While Joe Biden (D) set the tone by interrupting first, Wallace later stated that Trump bore the “primary responsibility” for what occurred during the debate.
“The Commission has determined that it is appropriate to adopt measures intended to promote adherence to agreed upon rules and inappropriate to make changes to those rules,” it said in a statement, detailing its plan to enforce the rule:
Under the agreed upon debate rules, each candidate is to have two minutes of uninterrupted time to make remarks at the beginning of each 15 minute segment of the debate. These remarks are to be followed by a period of discussion. Both campaigns this week again reaffirmed their agreement to the two-minute, uninterrupted rule. The Commission is announcing today that in order to enforce this agreed upon rule, the only candidate whose microphone will be open during these two-minute periods is the candidate who has the floor under the rules. For the balance of each element, which by design is intended to be dedicated to open discussion, both candidates’ microphones will be open.
The CPD added that “neither campaign may be totally satisfied with the measures today” but added that it is “comfortable that these actions strike the right balance and that they are in the interest of the American people, for whom these debates are held”:

Yeah he has, but if Trump asks about all the different schemes Hunter was into (AVOIDING HIS DRUG ABUSE) along with Devon Archer and the rest, it will hit home.
From the documents I’ve seen, the wife of the Mayor of Moscow laundered 200M to escape sanctions and paid Hunter 3.5M for it. That’s a completely fair question to ask, as is the questions about China and Ukraine.

They'll give the kill switch to Biden's team.
His team will not only have the questions in advance, and coach Biden in real time via an earpiece, but they'll have control of Trump's microphone. Plus the "moderator" is a Biden operative. It's going to be completely wired.
Answer the question with as few words as possible then smile at the moderator and stand silently, giving them no chance to mute.

Biden doesn’t need to be fed the questions. Liberals are all part of a collective. Biden already knows the types of questions to be asked and is memorizing the responses. That’s why he is locked away.

These aren’t the topics that our side agreed to and none of the questions will be asked from a conservative point of view. When are Republican voters going to get the respect that they deserve? Because right now, we’re being treated like second class citizens.

I think having Joe speak for two minutes uninterrupted might be a good thing.

Yep, President Trump needs to AVOID THE ADDICTION ISSUE (it’s a national problem affecting many American families) but hammer home the corruption and the selling out of American interests to foreign entities.

I think so too. I’m in favor of him saying what he wants to say no matter the question of whether but I think they would mute him. I personally would like to see him give the commission hell and walk off the stage leaving them in a wake.
Trump needs to stand up the Commission on this one and instead do a live Jo Rogan interview at the same time as the ‘debate’ that centers on Biden corruption and foreign relations and policy.
