God only knows that, two weeks out from the presidential election, the stakes are high.

On Sunday, a version of the Beach Boys — the touring incarnation of the group led by cofounder Mike Love — performed at a last-minute fundraiser for President Trump near Newport Beach in Orange County. Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, two other founding members of the beloved California band, were less than happy about the news.

Celebs vowing to flee country upon Trump reelection ‘really think they’re that important’:

‘Don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya,’ Michael Loftus joked.

Celebrities threatening to flee country upon Trump reelection are ‘cowardly’: Michael Loftus
Comedian Michael Loftus gives his take on rich-and-famous anti-Trumpers.

The rich and famous have been threatening to leave the U.S. since Trump’s election in 2016, which comedian Michael Loftus told “Fox & Friends Weekend” is a completely ego-driven statement.

“They really think they’re that important,” he said. “They really think we’re walking around going, ‘Wait, what? Springsteen’s going to leave? And Tommy Lee? Oh, I’m changing my vote!’”

Rock star and New Jersey-native Bruce Springsteen recently told The Daily Telegraph he’ll “see you on the next plane” if President Trump is reelected. And Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee told The Big Issue he’d go “back to my Motherland.”

WHAT HOLLYWOOD HAS SAID ABOUT BIDEN AND TRUMP

But Loftus said there’s no way Springsteen, Lee, or any celebrities who have vowed to flee in the past would ever follow through with it.

“We knew these celebrities were self-centered. We knew they were stupid. We just didn’t know how cowardly they were,” he said. “With Springsteen saying this, I guess it gives new meaning to ‘Born to Run.’”

Loftus joked that it’s a good thing celebrities didn’t act out like this during World War II, refusing to fight on Omaha Beach after claiming President Franklin D. Roosevelt is “not my president.”

I hope they get over being unhappy. If not, too bad.

Gotta love Mike Love. I’ll even suffer through his daughter’s singing to hear a concert.

Former Beach Boy buddy and Monkee wannabe Charlie Manson had no comment on the issue.

Beach Boys splinter over politics again as Brian Wilson repudiates Trump fundraiser

Brian Wilson will always have my respect as the musical genius behind "Pet Sounds" and pretty much everything else of worth the Beach Boys ever did. Mike Love - not so much. But in terms of politics, I've got a lot more in common with Mike. As for Brian, I know he's led a very unhappy life and I hope he's found some happiness in his later years.

He even had a brief encounter with Charles Manson and his “family”. I think tat encounter was to score drugs, if I remember correctly.

He needs to go back to lying in bed just like Brian Wilson did.

More than an encounter. He was a Manson groupie.
