Do you get to insure your car AFTER you have a ‘pre-existing accident’?
Do you get to buy fire insurance on your house AFTER it burns down in a fire?
Insurance is not meant for those conditions. The only thing government should do is make sure they cannot throw you off AFTER you have paid your premiums.

I think James is likely to win.
And while President Trump has coattails, James may have upward coattails. If they vote for Trump, they’re likely to vote for James, and vice versa. If they’re James supporters but undecided in the presidential race, they’re likely to break for Trump.
