The album
Fleetwood Mac was released in 1975, and the album
Rumours was released in 1977. By 1979 Fleetwood Mac had their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
None of their albums since Rumours have matched its critical or financial success.
Based upon the available evidence, it appears Stevie Nicks's affair with Don Henley and the resultant abortion did nothing to help the band's success.

Sorry Stevie Nicks but if you were not on stage there are thousands of other musicians that are as good as or even better than you and one of them would have taken the spotlight. You murdered your own child for yourself and for nobody else in an act of ultimate selfishness. You did not do it for the ‘music that means so much to your fans’. When you meet your maker, you will face judgment.

“Hypnotized” was always my favorite too. Anyway, if I had to choose between Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham, it would be Buckingham hands down. I cant help admiring good guitar players over singers, as a rule.
