It was a great place to be a kid from 1960 to 1965.

Of course, it’s the first place I got sucker punched by a black kid in a movie theater in downtown Ithaca when I was 13. The “knockout game” has been around a long time.

I don’t imagine the president’s campaign staff had anything to do with a local rally - that’s LOCALS...on their own just as it is all over the country.

My hometown and a shame what it’s become. In the ‘50’s, politics wasn’t on our minds - never discussed with friends/family or at work coffee breaks; just living our lives and TRUSTING that we weren’t being ruled by thugs out to destroy us. I guess it’s safe to say we went on like that until 2016 when Donald Trump opened our eyes.
