A raw series of text messages show Joe Biden offering fatherly comfort as his son, Hunter, lamented from a rehab facility about being a “f–ked up addict who can’t be trusted” and had damaged his dad’s political career.
The intimate family exchange took place on February 24, 2019, two months before Joe launched his campaign for the White House.
“Good morning my beautiful son. I miss you and love you. Dad,” the elder Biden wrote at 6:57 a.m.
Hunter responded with a lengthy diatribe about his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, and his father’s political advisers, and he also complained bitterly about a conversation with his sister-in-law-turned-lover, Hallie Biden.
“For f–ks sake hallie for the first time [in] 17 days talks to me to say im an embarrassment. To MY family,” Hunter wrote.
He then admitted, “Well dad, the truth is as you and hallie point out — I am a f–ked up addict that cant be…Trusted relied upon nor defended.”

I really do not need to read this. All I know is what I have read, and that is Joe Biden allowed the appearance of impropriety. He has allowed corruption. Don’t care how much he loves his unfortunate son.

This is draining the swamp. Gonna be ugly and beautiful all at the same time.
I suspect Hunter was once a very bright man of great expertise and knowlege. He burnt himself out on drugs. Why he did this is between him and his dad and that is the crux of the problem.
If he never takes another hit in his life his brain is still burnt out. I knew of these back in the sixties. Once you are burnt you do not come back. You are just a sad shell of what you once you once were.
Oddly I have sympathy for Hunter Biden. He is a victim of excess and a fool of logic. He lost the game and that is sad. His end will probably be sad. I hope it is not.
This is a terribly sad family. And a horribly corrupted, deceitful one. Darkness lurks at their edges- the drugs and prostitutes of the son- the sickening strokes of little girls by the father..always hiding from light.
It is just sad. His kids will be tormented over those photos. The whole thing is extremely tawdry.
