Oh, as has been stated recently, he must be skin folk but not kin folk. Is that how it goes? The detractors can only wish they had half the smarts Mr. Sowell has. Truly a great thinker. Thanks for posting.

It's not a popular topic among most Americans primarily due to the repercussions we may have to endure for speaking the truth.
Thomas Sowell has courage most of us lack and is not afraid to tell it like it is.
May he live another ninety years.
He is a national treasure.

The “legacy of slavery” is a legacy that liberals choose to cling to in order to explain away the failures of their socialist welfare ideology.

there was a show a year or so ago where famous people found their heritage.. families..
One black guy from one of the networks found that his slaved family were set free and traveled back to their owners.. he was flabbergasted to find they had not been mistreated and wanted back to the way of life that had suited then well.

My final assignment in the Air Force was as commander of an engineering unit. A third of my engineers were Blacks. All had graduated from reputable engineering schools, or from Air Force Technician School. They did good work. I was able to get awards for several of them. I was proud of all of them. Best assignment of my career.
