NBC News will host a live town hall with Republican presidential nominee President Donald Trump, moderated by Savannah Guthrie, in Miami on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. During the one-hour town hall, Guthrie will moderate a conversation between President Trump and a group of Florida voters on critical issues impacting their vote less than three weeks before Election Day.
The event will take place outdoors at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in accordance with guidelines set forth by health officials and consistent with all government regulations. NBC News has been given a statement by Dr. Clifford Lane, Clinical Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), indicating that he and Dr. Anthony Fauci have reviewed the president’s recent medical data, including a PCR test collected and analyzed by NIH on Oct. 13, and have concluded “with a high degree of confidence” that the president is “not shedding infectious virus.”
Both Guthrie and the president will be at least 12 feet apart from both each other and the audience. The audience will also be socially-distanced and required to wear face masks while on the premises, answer a symptoms questionnaire and take a temperature check prior to entering the outdoor venue. Every NBC News staffer will be tested on site on the ground in Miami.
The town hall will follow the same format and will air in the time slot as NBC News’ town hall with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, moderated by Lester Holt, held last Monday, Oct. 5. In addition to airing on NBC, the primetime event will also air across MSNBC and CNBC, stream on NBC News NOW and be available in Spanish on Telemundo’s digital platforms.

I thought that Trump was leaning on the podium during the first debate, in a way that he does not usually do. I also thought that his face looked like he was sweating. He was quite red in the face. I think he was already sick.

Questions are strategic to get Trump into a controversy. The abortion question was designed to start a controversy and Trump sifted it out. I think his weak point truly is Healthcare. He needs to tie healthy to prescriptions drug. Healthcare is useless if you can’t afford the prescribed medication. I don’t know why he RARELY makes that connection. He does sometimes but that really should be his go to
I think he is saving it for the next debate. It just came out and it needs to percolate and develop a little and then in the last debate President Trump will drill Joe right between the eyes with it and everyone will know what he is talking about.
Healthcare is all Republicans’ Achilles Heel.

Biden did well in the 1st debate and he is doing well here. He is speaking in complete sentences and making his points. Of course his points are ridiculous and no one is challenging them. Biden is being given free reign to speak without interruptions.
If Trump is the same guy he was tonight instead of the guy he was in the 1st debate ... I think he will do well and the next debate will be a good exchange.

Trump did excellent. Only he has the guts to walk into another biased liberal hit job, directed and produced by lying media. Biden won’t do it. Trump has no problem doing it.
My only advice would be not to allow these deceitful chatter monkeys to set the pace. The leftist wench was literally full auto machine gun mouth, like she just snorted a line of crank. At that point I would have been slowing down my responses like I’d been in the Ozarks for 50 years, sitting on my porch, shooting beer cans with a bb gun. I’d force her drug induced fast jibber jabber into a slow southern drawl.
I think Trump also has to have a few numbers at the tip of his tongue to show how high people’s insurance premiums have gone since Obamacare started. It is very dramatic. The people who have free health insurance through Obamacare of course love it. Everyone else saw a huge increase in premiums and in deductible.
