Governor Charlie Baker on Wednesday reaffirmed that he will not vote for President Trump, a fellow Republican, though he declined to discuss how he might cast his ballot.

Asked by a reporter during a State House news conference how he would vote in the Nov. 3 presidential election, Baker declined to answer. Later in the day, his office issued a statement.

“The governor cannot support Donald Trump for president and is focused on seeing Massachusetts through the pandemic. He’ll leave the election analysis to the pundits,” Baker’s office said.

I’m a Californian Republican—and you are right; we are perhaps not quite as conservative as non-Californian Republicans, I suspect. Otherwise we’d just leave the state because CA would be flat out intolerable.

For example, I wore a mask at the Minden NV Trump rally. Probably only 5% did—but the cool thing is I could tell that none of the other attendees cared at all that I chose to wear one. It’s called—freedom!

I'm a lifelong resident of the Gay State (Massachusetts).Given that there are so many people of Irish blood here the "Saint Patrick's Day Breakfast" is an important event in the state's political calendar.Every politician with any power attends for a good laugh. During one such Breakfast Baker said "I must admit to you that I'm only 1% Irish and 1% Republican".

Real Republicans don't have a prayer in this state.IIRC Reagan was the last Republican to carry the state...the first time,not in '84.
