All the bells and whistles went off in my head when Mazie Hirono asked Judge Barrett, "Since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature?" She claims to ask this of every nominee -- someone should look that up. And then Cory Booker asked the judge if she condemns white supremacy.
No, folks. This hearing is not just a four-day infomercial for Biden/Harris. Instead, it's more likely a set-up. They had to anticipate she'd answer "no" to the first question and readily condemn white supremacy. It doesn't take a political genius to suspect they will spring something on us as the hearing winds down Thursday -- in the hopes of delaying the vote and possibly scoring points for Biden/Harris. They must believe they have the goods on the Good Judge or at least something disruptive enough to stall the proceedings and call her integrity into doubt. Judging by those questions they asked and using a little imagination, maybe DiFi will produce a letter from a former student, colleague, or domestic employee who will claim that ACB mistreated him, said homophobic or racist remarks, made him feel uncomfortable, triggered him, didn't provide a safe space, and should be removed from consideration because of her microaggressions. Maybe she failed to pay their Social Security or neglected to pay them a fair salary. Something. Anything.
It's just incredibly hard to believe that those questions were random. The Democrats are a lot of things, but they don't do things without a purpose.

I think their motive is more “nuanced” than either of those.
In order to advance its Marxist agenda, and rob us of our Liberties, the Progressive Left needs to get past the ultimate firewall - known as the US Constitution - the Bill of Rights. The Constitution is what makes the USA a self-governing Republic.
They need to discredit it, defang it. To do so, they need to find “wedge” issues by which they can argue (falsely) that the Constitution, as it stands, is corrupt from its founding, and actually infringes upon our freedoms rather than protecting them.
One such issue, their flagship issue, is abortion (or “choice”, as they call it).
According to their perverse argument, the Religious Right has weaponized the Bill of Rights - Religious Freedom infringes upon a woman’s reproductive rights. So-called “Religious Freedom” is not freedom - it is Tyranny according to the alert.
This is what the Left does with issue after issue: poverty, racism, equality, choice, gun proliferation, you name it.
They don’t care about the issue or the people supposedly affected - they care about their political agenda - which is the discrediting, debunking, defanging of the Constitution, which is an obstacle in their path toward total State control.

Yeah, the “Have you ever in your adult life” question is one that’s often asked in demonstrating a polygraph test: virtually EVERYONE’s BP and pulse go up before the rest of the question is even asked, even if the answer will be a truthful “no”.

Even though much more serious villany by the Dems, this has happened so many times before. You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to wonder if the Dems are plotting evil.
Either Dems will overplay their bullying of Judge Barrett and incur the late arriving wrath of the American public, or, we will say this is the line they shouldn't cross with us on the conservative side.
So their goal must be nothing more than an attempt to delay confirmation. In which case they must immediately call and end to this portion of the confirmation process, and take it directly to the floor for a full vote.
