Neighbors says the special agents confiscated eight large garbage bags of suspected undelivered mail.
BALDWIN, Pa. Special agents from the United States Postal Service raided the home of an Allegheny County mail carrier over the weekend.
At a time when public confidence in mail delivery is low, a mail carrier is suspected of putting out his deliveries with the morning trash.
Special agents from the United States Postal Service raided the carriers home in Baldwin on Sunday night, confiscating eight large garbage bags of suspected undelivered mail, according to neighbors.
From inside his house on Meadowcrest Road, mail carrier Sean Troesch had nothing to say Monday after agents rolled up in front of his house in an unmarked van and collected bags of suspected undelivered mail.
In a statement, the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General said its agents acted on a tip and promised to conduct a thorough inventory of those bags, ensuring each item will reach its intended recipient.
...
But neighbors who did not want to be identified said they suspect other mail has already found its way to the landfill. Neighbors say trash bags, like the ones shown in a photo from two weeks ago, have been put outside Troeschs house almost every Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.

Was his name Newman?
Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. There’s never a letup, it’s relentless. Every day it piles up more and more, and you gotta get it out, but the more you get out, the more keeps coming in! And then the bar code reader breaks! And then it’s Publisher’s Clearinghouse Day...!
Any ballots?
Sounds like he was taking one day off per week with pay.
“And then its Publishers Clearinghouse Day...!”
Mail on Sunday?
Pennsylvania seems to have the most of these occurrences. I know Trump has already made an issue of mail-in voter problems, but should he point out that PA seems to be throw-away central? It is a swing State.
All it takes is 1 RFID tracer chip in every one thousand ballots means you will be able to catch any sort of bulk collection fraud like this.
Makes me wonder if they have employed this tactic. If I can think of it (I proposed it last month) I am assuming federal elections folks can think of it.
People should get informed delivery. I know what will be in my mailbox before I open it. I believe this is done before the local postman has access to it.
Why these people think they're not going to get caught eventually, is beyond me. I worked in Corrections for 25 years, and still don't understand it. They need to realize that only Democrat politicians get away with that kind of crap.
Dude’s gonna be going to prison for a looooooong time.
When you control the mail, you control - information.
Life imitates art. That character was funny because deep down you KNEW it was true.
I like the episode where Jerry delivers his route and breaks the 80% mark.
Allegheny County. Who would have thought? Nothing shady has every occurred in Allegheny. He’s just been practicing for the big election day ballot grab.
Not really. We are exchanging information right now, without the USPS. Newspapers and magazines are online now.
My GenZ children are almost entirely paperless, their bills arrive electronically and that’s how they pay them.
