Perhaps the Nobel folks are trying to redeem any shred of dignity that might exist after their blundering fiasco of an Obama Nobel Peace Prize?
A correction is needed. Donald Trump was not up for the 2020 Peace Prize. Nominations end in January. All four of his nominations will be evaluated for the awards bestowed next October.

is of no significance to people who hate Jews.
There was also a nomination for Trump’s help with peace in
the European community also. I guess that didn’t matter. Lives saved... war averted, eh, who cares...
This fourth nomination won’t do any better. This guy
isn’t as stupid as Carter. He isn’t a race-baiter like
Obama.
He just doesn’t know what really counts to these people.

David Beasley, an American, was named by Trump in 2017 to head the World Food Program so it looks like PDJT had a hand in the eventual 2020 Nobel Peace Prize winner after all. Maybe the program was run in a less political and more businesslike way than usual.
