One person was shot and killed, and a local news station's private security guard was in custody Saturday evening after protests between opposing groups turned violent in Denver's Civic Center Park, city police said.
The man who was shot was part of a pro-police "Patriot Rally," according to a report.
"Further investigation has determined the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa," the Denver Police Department wrote in a Twitter message.

Looking through the pictures and videos, I think he drew on the Patriot Prayer guy, and THEN the victim brought the mace up and sprayed. It is being described in the media the opposite.
This was staged by anitifa to get a reaction from the conservatives, that’s why the media was there. I’d guess the media producer has some very clear film of the encounter, that will never see, or has already been erased.
Interesting, THERE is the reason for the DPD to establish the NOT ANTIFA Narrative so early without investigation.
The Denver Police Brass should not spend so much time licking the Marxist Politicians shoes.

One interesting point that was brought up to me by a para-legal. If the guard was not Antifa, why was he there? If he was there on his own, a reasonable person would infer that he WAS Antifa. If there at the direction of 9 News - there is a HUGE amount of corresponding liability on some deep corporate pockets.
Family of the deceased may have a significant legal case for wrongful death.

A Letter of Hire from your intended employer(s) completed within the past 60 days
An CBI background check ran within the past 60 days. CBI documents must be uploaded as one file. The file must be in chronological order and the pages cannot be upside down. For example, pages 1-10 all right side up in one file. If they are not uploaded correctly, they will be returned to applicant to upload correctly.

This endorsement allows you to work as a security guard in regular clothes rather than your employer’s approved uniform for specific events.
A Letter of Plainclothes Endorsement Request from your intended employer(s) completed within the past 60 days
Additional For A Firearm Endorsement
This endorsement allows you to carry a firearm while working as a security guard
A Letter of Firearm Endorsement Request from your intended employer(s) completed within the past 60 days
A Firearm Training Certification completed within the past 6 months
Additional For An Explosive Detection Canine Endorsement
This endorsement allows you to be accompanied by an explosive detection canine while working as a security guard
Letter of Explosive Detection Canine Request from your intended employer(s) completed within the past 60 days
A valid Explosive Detection Canine Certificate

If you listen to the video closely you can hear what sounds like a gun being racked just before the pepper spray.

In some circumstances one might argue that being maced incapacitated them, leaving them vulnerable to subsequent lethal attack and thus justifies use of lethal force in response. In this case there were lots of armed watching cops very near, who responded to the shooting promptly. Being maced in this case wouldn’t leave them vulnerable, would just bring a prompt police response.
There needs to be a protest outside the 9News studios.
Also, there needs to be one honking wrongful death lawsuit.
Why did the tv station hire a “guard” whose Facebook posts showed him to be mentally unstable?
The angry little Antifa Eloi on Twitter were showing their tiny sharp teeth over this yesterday.
They have this threatening line that they use - you may have seen it - "F*ck around and find out."
They were giving that line a workout yesterday after the murder.
