Howdy, radu! Hope you’re having a good weekend! Did you get some nice rain today to settle the pollen and dust/

A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours, and thank you.

Did you and son have time for some fun games? Who won?

Howdy, PRO!

I messed up my back vacuuming Thurs. and sitting in this desk chair just wasn’t going to work. It feels a little better tonight but I still have to get up fairly often.

So you’re getting some chilly temps at last, are ya? It probably feels good after the long hot summer. The rain kinda ruins it though.

Our temps have been quite comfortable but it’s been VERY wet today, courtesy of the remnants of Delta. We’re grateful for the rain!

Poor widdle kitteh. LOL!

Except for Jobu, our kittehs are doing well. Jobu disappeared last Sunday evening and we have no idea what happened to him. I miss that sweet, sweet feller.

Howdy, luvie!

It’s been raining steadily all day but not heavily. I haven’t checked the gauge since before dark but at that time there was only .8 of an inch. It’s probably a little over an inch by now with more rain to come.
It settled the dust but giving the plants a drink has made them spew pollen like crazy. I was out for a short time earlier and my sinuses have been unhappy ever since.

All that rain sounds like heaven to me...but sorry it stirred up the pollen. I was hoping it would settel it out of the air. Not fun!

I wish you could have gotten some rain too. It certainly is like heaven for us at this point. We’ve been SO dry.
But plants don’t work very hard to do their thing. Why waste the energy? Wait until it rains for replenishment, them GO FOR IT. And they are. Ugh!

At least the dust is washed out of the air so we don’t have that to deal with it as well.

It just feels like we’re never going to have any. They haven’t started restrictions again, so that’s good. Last time was a total nightmare.

Silly plants! They need to restrain their enthusiasm. LOL!

The prospects sure don’t look good, do they? Nice to hear that there aren’t any restrictions yet. I thought there had been for a while already.

Much as I hate it, we need a good, hard freeze. That’ll help a LOT with the plants’ enthusiasm. LOL

Good for you! Slow and steady now as you work on the small items.

No, when I talk of restrictions, I’m talking about the last drought. I don’t EVER want to go through that again.

I’m going to remind you of that about the “hard freeze” when it happens and you’re unhappy. LOL!

Guess I’d better head out. Early morning, ya know. Don’t want any pew bonking now that we’re back in our building. :) See ya tomorrow!

Oh, THOSE restrictions. Yeah, you don’t want to have to go through that again.

Believe me, I’m not looking forward to hard freezes, even though they’ll tamp down the pollen problem. LOL

Farmer’s Almanac predicts a warmish winter for us, I assume because La Niña is fired up this year. Maybe there won’t be too much to whine about. :-)

Sleep well. Keep that noggin off the pews.

A very pleasant good Sunday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

We had a great Gizmo's 3rd birthday at Comanche Lake. Here are some of the pics.

Also my brand new watch arrived.

So, how's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

It looks like Gizmo had a fabulous birthday. Gorgeous weather, lots of roaming, but hey - - nothing smelly to roll in? LOL

Make sure you take your new watch off when you have to dig his food bowls out from under the deck!

((LOL))Good idea. I think I will do that.

BTW, where have you been. It's been awhile since I heard from you?

Yeah, it would stink if you broke the strap on your new watch getting it hung up like with the old watch. Enjoy this one for a while. :-)

I made a wrong move while vacuuming Thursday and threw my back out of whack pretty bad. My desk chair isn’t the most comfortable on a good day and sitting in it to be on the computer just wasn’t in the cards for a couple of days. It’s feeling better now but I’m still not able to sit for a long time. Up, down, up down.

Kinda sux gettin’ old and it’s worse when you’ve had an injury. Just gotta keep pluggin’ along as best we can, right? :-)

Good morning, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Sounds like you are finally getting rain. I’m sure the cotton is happy, as well as your grass.

Hey there, Kathy.

Yes, we’re FINALLY getting some rain. The cotton doesn’t need it any more as the leaves are dead and the cotton is doing whatever it does to get ready to harvest.
The grass and trees are certainly in need though. It’s been a steady, light, soaking rain and that’s just what the doctor ordered.

OMG well, take it easy and don’t overdo yourself. I’m 56 so I’m getting there unfortunately.
