Yes. Plan A of reaching out in friendship to the people in Harlem has been replaced. Thankfully./s

He started so much but really it was planned for the next incident no matter where by BLM plotters. Had he never stopped Floyd there would have been another black in another struggling guilty suspect crime scene that led to protests.

Yesterday’s protests were over a black officer. Can’t stop the riots now. BLM is “looking for trouble.”

The Legal Insurrection article is dated May 29, prior to the actual autopsy being publishe on June 1. The actual autopsy, again, states "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression." I personally don't even bother with the family's autopsy.

I know the kneeling on the neck was regulation. Similarly, the police are allowed to use a billy club. Policemen who know what they're doing can self-regulate their application of these tools of the trade. Chauvin couldn't do what peers can do - use the hold without killing the guy in custody.

I'm not saying Chauvin had an axe to grind with Floyd, that he was a racist, or that he isn't entitled to his day in court. But I believe one can simultaneously believe that there is no excuse for the destruction of public and private property, that defunding the police is stupid, Feorge Floyd was no saint, and none of this would have happened if Chauvin was competent.

You deserve a world full of George Floyds.

Wouldn’t that be heaven on Earth?

Actually, it would suck. It would be just as bad as a world full of incompetent policemen and a retinue of supportive folks.

Conservatives used to frown on bad LEOs. I guess that's changed.

I frown on Marxist death-to-America “journalism” that seeks to destroy policing and replace it with Marxist goon squads, which is what Obama has been doing starting with Saint Trayvon and is still doing from his Washington, DC Kalorama headquarters.

But you go ahead and hang onto every sensationalized word they spew. They target the low-IQ types.

I'm all behind your first paragraph. It's all true and, I would go further and say, the siege against law and order predates Obama. He just weaponized it.

But supporting Chauvin is a political act, not a rational act. A good cop wouldn't have had the trouble Chauvin had with Floyd. Other cops are allowed to use the hold he used - he killed his perp. The video shows his incompetence. The county's autopsy (the family's autopsy is a bought document) supports that view. He is no different from a bad doctor who kills a patient accidentally.

I get it...many people think if you let Chauvin fall, then you're supporting Antifa et al. It is similar to Dubya...in 2004 it was him or Lurch. Dubya was great right after 9/11 but floundered and drove us in to Iraq. So, many made a political decision to support the war and our "war time president." We feared a Kerry presidency would be facilitated by a narrative of "of course Iraq was a disaster but Bush is still preferable to Kerry." Maybe that's true - Dubya won Ohio by 118k votes - but it doesn't change the reality that ignoring the facts was a political act.

To be sure there are many (most?) people on the other side making Chauvin out to be a racist monster or the tip of the "institutional racism" iceberg, but who could care less about George Floyd but do care about furthering their agenda on top of his corpse. These leftists are vile, despicable humans.

But I refuse to work overtime to make Chauvin look like the victim. He's a lousy cop and I don't believe society is advanced by championing incompetence, especially in law enforcement.

I understand. You have to maintain your virtue-signalling credentials.

It’s not, but it beats furthering cognitive deficiency credentials.

What’s a “DU?”
