Following the announcement that the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was revising the format of the Oct. 15 debate to become a virtual event, with candidates appearing from remote locations, President Trump said he wouldnt be participating. This decision put the entire debate schedule in flux, with former Vice President Biden quickly scheduling a Town Hall event on with ABC News on Oct. 15 instead of the debate.
As a result, the next Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will not be held until Oct. 22. The President is also trying to add a third debate, on Oct. 29, but the Biden campaign has said they will not agree to participate.
As it stands now, the Oct. 22 debate might be the final time the candidates meet on the debate stage before Election Day, according to The Hill:
See more HereAn extended back-and-forth between the campaigns threw the presidential debate schedule into chaos Thursday, raising the question: Will there even be another debate?
There are health concerns clouding the future of the potential face-offs, given the extraordinary situation that one of the candidates, President Trump, currently is infected with a contagious and potentially deadly virus.
Yes, it was good of him to point out the Committee’s unfairness. I thought it more troubling, though, that he admitted that so many of his “friends” on the Committee are never-Trumpers.
**** the debates.
**** the leftist bias of moderators who prop up Biden and attack Trump.
Trump needs to do Friendly Interviewer Only appearances between now and the election.
He will come across great, leftists will bitch, he will win.
Four more years of Making America Great Again.
I want Trump to do fireside chats ever week.
Disagree with your assessment. Trump signs may be sparse up there in injun country, but that’s more related to the overbreeding of the Kennedy spawn, and many of the Trump supporters are “undercover Trump supporters.”
I’m not sure if Trump will win in Taxachusetts, but I think he has some very committed and motivated voters up there.
And I know in flyover country, Trump is a very popular president; but again, many of his supporters are undercover, due to the MSM demonizing them and Trump.
Trump supporters, and just regular folks who don’t usually feel like they need to vote, now feel like they need to vote, after watching the winter of fake impeachments, the spring of China virus that killed their grandparents, parents, jobs, vacations, 401ks, and the summer of riots and quarantines. They’re about done with all the made-up bullshit that is destroying the country they got comfortable in. And now they know they need to act.
Our job is to raise the enthusiasm, motivation and commitment levels for Trump to a deafening roar. Simple things we can do in our community... get two or 3 people and stand on a corner with “No More Bullshit”, “Keep America Great,” “Make America Great,” “Trump 2020,” “MAGA,” etc., signs, flags, hats, noisemakers... get the non-thinkers to start thinking. Get the silent majority excited to go vote...
Dang! Sorry, went on too long. My point is, don’t be a Debbie Downer. Think positive thoughts. Take productive action. And pray like the dickens for God to let us have another four years to get our country back to where is should be constitutionally and morally.
Trump should have many internet chats with people whose lives have been changed for the better by opportunity zones. Most people have no idea that these even exist and yet there are thousands, maybe tens of thousands of them, across the country.
typical: Dems write a paper. Republicans get it done. Media gives credit to the paper writers.
One down, just one more to find an excuse to get out of.
AmenGods perfect, righteous will. We command, Let Gods will be done on earth as it is in Heaven in the name of Jesus.
If you’re still undecided, you ain’t black, man.
‘Tis good I don’t have cable!!
Don’t quit your day job.
Amen
The Bible says that God ordains our leaders
I believe that God knows that Trump is not a perfect man, but the perfect man for the job of President at this time.
When Clinton was elected President, a group of Christians were at my house, Mon nite football.
My pastor expressed concern about Clinton being elected.
I mentioned to him how in the Old Testament there were a lot of evil Kings of Israel and that was God judging Israel for moving away from God.
And that Clinton being elected Prez was an example of that too.
I'm just hoping that God is pleased with the way Trump is leading our country and ordains him for another 4 years.
Thanks for that. I just get discouraged at times.
“When you get someone who clearly loves the country thats who you choose. Dont have to agree with everything he does. “
I just get frustrated sometimes. Why can’t we have public option like all other western counties?
Now I’m probably gonna die anyway. So who gives a shit?
I do. Buck up!
