I have never seen a court case where the Prosecutor move to drop a case and the Judge refused. Moreover, the Judge than behaved like a Prosecutor.

I agree with your comments there. I haven’t seen it either,
but I’m not a frequent observer of court proceedings.

It does sound to me like this judge has gone rogue here
though.

How many times have you seen the prosecutor move to drop the charges after the defendant pleaded guilty?
