London (CNN) — Five parrots have been removed from public view at a British wildlife park after they started swearing at customers. The foul-mouthed birds were split up after they launched a number of different expletives at visitors and staff just days after being donated to Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in eastern England.
"It just went ballistic, they were all swearing," the venue's chief executive Steve Nichols told CNN Travel on Tuesday. "We were a little concerned about the children." "I get called a fat t**t every time I walk past," Nichols complained.

Wish who ever it was would have gave the parrots to me. Long evenings spent swearing at each other like a drunken old Brit sailor to an old drunken yank sailor. Great way to avoid having to watch Willie’s dick mitten disrespecting our Vice President.
Parrots are mostly drama queens. They love watching emotion. When humans cuss, it gets a reaction. They see that and think “I wonder what happens if I say it?” So they say the cuss word and the human freaks! Drama reward! So the bird thinks “Cool! I have to remember this word because it gets a reaction.” And the more people freak out over the parrot cussing, the more the bird thinks he’s getting attention which, in his mind, is simply wonderful.
I’ve said before that parrots are little Clintons. You absolutely cannot shame them into corrective behavior. They don’t understand the concept. The only way to correct parrots is to actively ignore them when they act up. I would stand next to the cage with my back turned and arms folded until they stopped the bad behavior. Then I praised them for being good birdies when they stopped. They got the drama reward for being good instead of being bad which is how you encourage good behavior. Yelling at them or punishing them only encourages more of what you wanted to eliminate.
There was one at a store I often visited as a young Marine. He got to know me. He often cussed like a sailor for my amusement, lol.
Did he ever call you a ”effing jarhead”? If not he wasn’t tutored by a drunken sailor or marine. :)

Fortunately Bourke’s parrots can’t talk “people language”. Mine would probably be arrested, since he’s been listening to me curse at our local Son of Obama and his vehicle stereo bass for over a year :-)
No one in my tiny town can figure out what the a-hole is doing here in the first place. Maybe I can train the bird to poop on him on command. :-)

Kinda funny. When I was a teen my friend and I liked this parrot at a pet store and taught it curse words hoping no one would buy it. Some guy bought it just for the reason it cursed. Lesson learned
I didn’t invent that. A friend made a comment about a guy’s girlfriend letting me know she wasn’t on the menu. Guess I never forgot it. Turns out they got married, glad I stayed out of the road. The girl was very nice, Kamala is a broom ridding Hillary wanta be. Realize I just repeat what I’m thinking. Sometimes good, sometimes not.

I had a friend who trained another family’s parrot to say FU many years ago, so your post makes me think there was hope it turned out ok LOL.
