If Trump doesn’t support her or thought she was an obstacle he’d not spare any words saying so any more than he has with Comey... he wouldn’t need anonymous leakers to feed gossip to the press in order to be rid of her.
The left and the muslims have been after her for a while because they think she got rid of interrogation tapes of terrorists in the GWOT to protect CIA interrogators and psychologists from the Intl’ Criminal Court.
She is also part of Trump’s middle east peace policy so she has a target on her back for that too.
Al Queda did less damage to the US than BLM/Antifa/democrats.

It’s what have read about her— Trump was able to eliminate a real In-Q-Tel techno spy babe who really was a protege of Brennan’s from the Counter Terrorism Center. Chickie was a grad of Duke in ... zoology? really? Somebody’s brat.
Anyway she was in line to replace the DNI in an interim situation. Trump sidelined her, and put Admiral Joe Maguire (a REAL SEAL, well respected) as acting DNI to skip over this gal- who is derp state for sure. Posted about it at the time.
Then followed by Ric Grenell who seriously kicked butt as another “Acting” appointment they could not screw with to make way for Ratcliffe who is a Texas Federal Prosecutor, not a bushie wooshie.

One problem with firing Haspel is that so many senate races are close, and the senate at this moment is “shut down” because of covid cases. If Haspel was gone, would somebody worse take over?
