RIYADH/ISTANBUL (Reuters) - The head of Saudi Arabia's Chambers of Commerce has called for a boycott of Turkish products amid reports from merchants that animosity between Ankara and Riyadh is hindering the flow of goods between the two regional powers.

“By the same logic that Erdogan recently claimed Jerusalem, he should also claim Mecca and Medina.”
He just fired the first salvo in that pursuit.
He is very clearly and directly declaring his intent: The old Ottoman Empire will be restored from the Gates of Vienna, to Mecca and Algiers.
