A note to remember: The college of cardinals voted for Pope Che. The Catholic Church is a massively huge bureaucracy with the Pope and the Cardinals at the very top of the official organization. At the moment, the higher ups in the Catholic Church remind me of the book, The Fall of the House of Usher. Hopefully, the local preists and nuns will continue to live their respective lives according to reasonable theological narratives.
In the Bible when Angels show up on a mission of mercy or glad tidings, the first thing they say is ‘be not afraid’ or words to that effect.
Why? Because the appearance of an angel is a usually a harbinger of disaster.
Perhaps it’s nearing time for the Chinese, who have had a streak of warnings; floods, locusts, crop failures, various livestock and human plagues, and economic havoc to get a clue.
Or failing that, have a visit from Archangel Michael to once again slay the red devil? (Also known as the Red Dragon, one would be hard pressed to find a better totem for communist China than a red dragon. History may not repeat, but it surely rhymes!)
If you “rewrite” the Bible, you better pay attention to Revelation 22:18, 19.
The pope doesn’t own the Bible.
Neither does the Catholic Church.

Rewriting the Bible is precisely and admittedly what the KGB/FSB did decades ago with “Liberation Theology”.
Ownership and development of land was ordered by God from the beginning.
Later, when the law was given by God to Israel, it included the righteous being able to pass ownership of land to their children and children’s children.
Logically, in human terms, if a person could not own land, in a sense they were almost mere “livestock”, and subject to those who did own or control the land.
Consequently, the opposite was true of the lawless. If they did not follow God’s just ways, there would be nothing for their children to inherit.
God warned of the consequences against those who would covet, conspire, and act to move the “boundary stones” (property markers) of another person/family/widow. And it wasn’t just land. Stealing any possession or property was against God’s law.
From the beginning of man’s rebellion against God, as a consequence and part of God’s judgement against man seeking to replace God with himself (Humanism), God ordered that man would have to work by the sweat of his brow to survive. The same was true if man would prosper.
Socialism is the exact satanic antithesis of all God had set up.
The consequences to all efforts to live in perfect rebellion against God, demands a systemic covetous totalitarian rule, stealing the production of workers, and stealing their property, even owning (enslaving) their children, to give to those who do not equally produce, and necessarily gives/demands the power of a ruling class. This is pure anti-God, humanism, and evil.
It is total war with God !
Liberation theology, replaces God’s laws, and replaces God’s salvation with man made structural covetous law ~ This is “social justice, and what the humanist intends through “civil rights”.
Social justice is man derived salvation through first coveting what “I do not have” or “what I did not earn”, then forcibly subjugating those who have what they want, by stealing/robbing from them what they want.
“Churches” which have compromised, embraced, and now teach “social justice/civil rights”, are teaching a “different gospel” (a different salvation), and are teaching a “doctrine of demons”.
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” (1 Timothy 4:1)
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
What Jesuit would object?
Pope Francis could end all this by just stating that this is nonsense or it would say it in the bible. Because he doesn’t, he loses all the rest of the world’s people.
