I don’t think it will work that way at all. Our President will beat this infection, and his many supporters will increasingly realize just how important he is to our Country. I think this will bring out many, many more Trump supporters who might have not been too motivated before this time.

I honestly think that this turn of events could help win the election for Trump if he bounces back strongly, and I have confidence that he will. If in 2 or 3 weeks, he’s back on the stage looking strong and vigorous and kicking senile old Joe around, he will personify the country’s resilience. Don’t underestimate the power of that. To supporters like me, Trump already personifies absolute toughness. He’s taken broadsides on a daily basis from the left and media, and he keeps fighting on, unbowed and unbroken. That counts for something.

It depends on how this plays out over the next few weeks. I suspect Trump will be fine and can use the experience to connect to the American people.
The dems will say trash like “Lead the country during covid-19? Heck he couldn’t even keep himself from getting covid-19.” etc etc So yeah it gives them an opening.
The timing is suspect and I don’t mean conspiracy (although that can’t be ruled out). God is allowing this to happen for some reason. Here we have Trump getting covid-19 just a month before the election. It is as if Trump is being humbled and tested. Maybe Trump can use all this to his advantage in some way.
