I honestly think that this turn of events could help win the election for Trump if he bounces back strongly, and I have confidence that he will. If in 2 or 3 weeks, he’s back on the stage looking strong and vigorous and kicking senile old Joe around, he will personify the country’s resilience. Don’t underestimate the power of that. To supporters like me, Trump already personifies absolute toughness. He’s taken broadsides on a daily basis from the left and media, and he keeps fighting on, unbowed and unbroken. That counts for something.
