President Donald Trump has several strikes against him — age, obesity, elevated cholesterol and being male — that could put him at greater risk of becoming seriously ill from the coronavirus infection he disclosed late Thursday.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump, who also tested positive, “are both well at this time” and plan to remain at the White House while recovering and being closely monitored, according to a statement from his physician, Dr. Sean Conley.
A White House official said Friday that Trump was having mild symptoms.

Actually, for things like COVID, being overweight is a positive as it provides reserves. Skinny people have a tough time with the flu, common cold, COVID, etc.
Here are interesting stats about Idaho. There are 1.6 million people in the entire state; here are the number of deaths by age cohort:
<40 - 2
<50 - 11 (includes the two above)
<60 - 23 (includes the 13 above)
That’s it! 23 people under 60 in the entire state have died of COVID.
Alas, the state doesn’t determine “with COVID” vs “of COVID,” either. I’m presuming we don’t have any gunshot deaths or car accident deaths or drownings in that mix, but you never know.

The typical covid victim with co-morbidities is in extremely poor health. I see POTUS as robust, energetic, and healthy. Zero “health woes”.

Trump’S BMI is 3.03, “obese” is BMI 3.0. He is not morbidly obese.

I have seen and watched POTUS’s starting with Harry Truman to Donald J. Trump and I can tell you folks objectively Truman, Eisenhower,Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush senior, Bush Junior, Clinton, Obama...not one of them has ever measured up to POTUS, Donald J. Trump....not even close!!!
So....Today I pray to our Lord, God, Almighty to protect and heal POTUS, Trump, his wife Melania and their entire dedicated family!!! This Nation needs them all!!!

Frankly, I’d be surprised if his doc hasn’t kept him on it given the huge numbers of people he is in close contact with every day.
Trump is obese, there's no doubt about that. But I agree that the definition is probably out of whack. I know what weight I'd have to be to not be obese, and I know how skinny I am at that weight. I was it once. No way that's my "normal" weight.
