As if the Academy Awards wasnt enough, ABC Entertainment recently announced a new set of inclusion standards regarding their primetime programs. Its yet another installment of the left trying to ruin everything it touches.
On September 30, ABC Executive Vice President of Development and Content Strategy Simran Sethi released a new list of standards regarding on-screen talent, creative leadership, set workers, and industry representation. She wrote broadly, [W]e want to take this moment to evaluate systems and habits in an effort to remove barriers to access and opportunity. Its important for us to look around the room, see whos not there, and then take the steps to not only bring them in, but also set them up for success.
What this really means is less whiteness and more affirmative action. The actual guidelines prove as much regarding their new policies for hiring actors, crew members, and even producers. For on-screen representation, the standards require three out of five areas to be fulfilled.
A1: 50% of regular and recurring characters to be from Underrepresented groups
A2: 50% of regular and recurring actors to be from Underrepresented groups
A3: Meaningful inclusion of Underrepresented Groups as secondary or more minor on-screen individuals
A4: Meaningful inclusion of Underrepresented Groups in overall themes and narratives.
A5: Meaningful inclusion of Underrepresented Groups in episodic themes and narratives.
The behind-the-scenes talent is sadly no better. The inclusion standards also list ridiculous requests such as 50% or more of a writing staff being from underrepresented groups, 50% or more of a production department being from underrepresented groups, and paid employment opportunities solely for members of underrepresented groups.

When we do view it on occasion, we laugh at how almost every single commercial and program has to have black, homosexual, or other pampered groups for both programming and commercials.
If a married or heterosexual couple is portrayed, it must be interracial.
And if a white man is depicted, he must be an inept fool who must be guided by a wise minority, or as "Toxic Masculinity."
I think the programming in the old Soviet Union was less totalitarian and manipulative.
Television can keep their garbage. Almost no one (except moronic liberals) wants to consume their rubbish.
So we'll be seeing Conservatives, then ? I haven't seen one represented in prime time tv in years.
This is why remote controllers were invented,or what is still called a channel changer.
Or why we have TCM or METV or Antenna to watch or good books to read or why I recently ordered the entire MGM Traveltalks series on DVD (lovely colour film footage of worldwide locales from the late 1930s on into the 1940s).

Or, these other rare species:
1. A loving white husband who isn't a cheat and a villain.
2. An engineer, scientist, or computer expert who isn't black.
3. A kind and non-hypocritical Christian male or female.
We watched some episodes of the original Twighlight Zone last week.
You can get most of the entire seasons on Netflix.
It is really amazing to see the quality of the screenplays, the complexity of the plots, the incredible acting, and the depth of the characters depicted on some of the episodes.
The scripts are also aimed at an audience that has an IQ above 75. By the way, I spoke to a friend once who was in advertising.
You would probably not be surprised that almost all programming and commercials are aimed at an audience IQ level that used to be categorized as "mentally retarded."

And if you notice, in the scenes where they are driving in a car, the woman is driving. In a non-muscle car, with the emasculated man in the passenger seat or in the rear seat. The Otezla commercials are great for that.
Just like the ratings for all the Star Wars/Trek series, awards shows and sports have tanked, so too shall abc.
In the privacy of their own homes, with no one to strut for, self-styled “liberals” will also turn off programming that is no good.
No amount of virtue shaming will change that.
Usually the White males (if they’re not villains) tend to be mentally retarded. I guess with more of this Stalinazi propaganda, they want to kill off what’s left of their ratings. I see they ran “Woke Trek” last week on CBS. It scored a 0.2 in the ratings. That kind of rating would’ve been typical in the 1980s for reruns of local fishing shows at 3am on Sunday morning. For Prime Time television ? Executives would’ve been fired over something that awful.
I think we’re long past due for our own news networks (sorry, Faux News) and to create a new entertainment industry that adheres to our values and actual reality.
What? You want to see a parade of Archie Bunker clones? Or Hotlips and Frank? They won’t give a conservative a fair portrayal. Look what they did to Roseanne, and she wasn’t even a conservative, but she dared support Trump. Better they not even try to portray conservatives.

Remarkable when you consider “The Twilight Zone” was a product with an ideology of the JFK/New Frontier liberalism of the time. That, of course, is now far-right and so completely removed from the Demonrat base today that now lives in its own Twilight Zone (and trying to suffocate the rest of us in its insanity and derangement). Mr. Serling would be gobsmacked by it all.

Rod Serling was the Shakespeare of the 1960s. Some of the remakes of Planet of the Apes are surprising, but nothing was quite like Rod’s original depiction of Pierre Boulle’s novel.
You need the people with the entertainment background to produce entertainment. Clint Eastwood and Sylvester Stallone can’t do the whole thing. Mel Gibson is insane and makes too many productions in dead languages, usually with lots of torture. Roseanne could be recruited, if she’s done having nervous breakdowns. Rush Limbaugh knows broadcasting, but how well would he do in plain entertainment? How about Snerdley, Gutfeld, Gutfeld’s regulars, and some of the closet conservatives presently in Hollywood?
