With Fox News host Chris Wallace being heavily criticized for his bias towards Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden during the first face-off between the latter and President Donald Trump on Tuesday, September 29, social media users were curious as to who will be the moderators for the next two debates.
NPR media correspondent and host of On Point Radio David Folkenflik was one of the people who had part of the answer. "Just a reminder folks. The most decent man in DC, Steve Scully of C-SPAN, is next presidential debate moderator. How the hell is *that* going to work?" Another person with answer was the editorial and opinion director at The San Diego Union-Tribune, Matthew T Hall. "C-SPAN political editor Steve Scully and NBC White House correspondent Kristen Welker, who will moderate the second and third presidential debates, need to approach their nights much differently: Microphone cuts, no interruptions or crosstalk, actual moderation," he wrote.
It did not take long for a social media user to do a bit of research on both Scully and Welker and figure out that Trump might not gain any favors from any of them in the upcoming debates, and it would be not unlike how he was treated by Wallace. "FAIR DEBATES?! Presidential Debates Commission chooses FORMER BIDEN INTERN Steve Scully C-SPAN to moderate a Trump-Biden Debate. Also Chris Wallace FOX (a major Trump hater) & Kristen Welker NBC (far left Trump hater) to moderate debates. THIS IS SHAMEFUL!" the user wrote.
What the user states isn't incorrect.

Please do not debate Biden in the next presidential debate.
You cannot debate someone devoid of facts... just as Nancy Pelosi iterated.
Instead, go to the debate and wait for your opportunity to demonstrate that the moderator has interjected him/herself into the debate, and then completely leave Biden out of it... not allowing the moderator to use Biden as an escape phrase.
Make this next debate WITH the media!

I think this is an *excellent* opportunity for Trump. He can finally wage war on the media in front of a national audience ! Many of the things he will (or should) say many people would have never heard before because they get their ‘news’ from the msm.
Sounds like Scully was working right in the center of the policy making inter-workings of Vice President Biden’s office.

From the beginning,Trump should have refused debates, a simple statement, he could even still do so.
“This nation has watched the public humiliation of Joe Biden by the Democrats and sadly, his own family. Joe is is in obvious cognitive decline and I will not participate and be a party to his further embarrassment. I will not be blamed for his inability to articulate his stance on important issues to this country, and allow moderators to assist him at my expense.”

in our state there is no mask mandate anymore but the stores want you to but more and more including myself are saying no to masks.

There was a time in which even liberals could do a decent job of moderating debates. I remember reading some remarks by late PBS newsman Jim Lehrer after the infamous Obama/Mittens debate in which Candy Crowley “checked the transcript” for Obama. While Lehrer didn’t mention Crowley by name, he said it is not the job of moderators to do that. They are there to let the candidates present themselves. It is up to the candidates or analysts after the fact to comment on the veracity of statements. Chris Wallace failed in every way possible to be a good debate moderator, as would any leftist “journalist” today.
We should split the moderators between Ivanka and Hunter. At least they would be upfront.

He’s been with C-SPAN a long time... their reputation for being objective is on the line in this next debate.
I did not know that about Scully. OK, he is off my list.
