Many harsh words are traded on Twitter each day. Dick Costolo, the former CEO of the company, added some of his own tonight.
Costolo was responding to a debate that has consumed techs elite on Twitter over the past few days, an argument about whether the industry should actively promote social justice causes and encourage political conversations at work. Costolos comments had the effect of dumping a jerrycans worth of fuel on the fire. Me-first capitalists who think you can separate society from business are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution, he tweeted. I'll happily provide video commentary.

Okay; Robespierre.
I think they should be profitable and employ people. But what do I know?
I used to wonder where Hitler found people willing to kill for him.
Will this guy give up all the money he made to “the workers”? Or is he just a hypocrite...?
The Left wants you dead.

For the first time in my life, large numbers of my fellow citizens truly scare the hell out of me
Truly. You can look at America today and just see how close we are to doing what Germany did. You just need a certain percentage of the population to have some crazy ideas and to be darn certain that they are absolutely right and everyone else is absolutely wrong. Once those people get control, anything can happen.
For the first time in my life, large numbers of my fellow citizens truly scare the hell out of me
We must organize and prepare ourselves accordingly. Something the Jews failed miserably at leading to their demise.
See my tag line.

The Nazis took all the guns. That will not happen this time.
Historically accurate.
I don’t think we are going to avoid bloodshed over the next few years, no matter who is President.
Make no mistake that thinking ‘others’ went before us silently, quietly, into the long dark night. They faced mobs, refused to capitulate to the red guards and brownshirts...but it all still came for them too.
There is no place left to flee to freedom. We must accept out duty to protect it. And so now I wonder what my family thought during the first Civil War. They fought on both sides. Brothers split and a family literally ripped apart.
How about we start the revolution with Dick Costello’s $300 million? Deal?
The Left wants you dead.
The left? There is no more bipartisan policy in the beltway sewer than open borders and population replacement. The Uniparty wants a docile working class and us dead.
I am reminded of an event from the 1930s involving the Rockefeller family. They were in the process of opening Rockefeller Center in NYC and wanted to add some avant garde artwork to their very fine buildings. Instead of some traditional American artist like Norman Rockwell, they had to be trendy so they hired a communist from Mexico named Diego Rivera to paint a mural in the lobby of the main building. Rivera worked on it for months under cover of a sheet and when it was unveiled, it showed mine owners beating their workers into submission. The mine owners looked strangely like leading members of the Rockefeller family. The mural was promptly covered up and when again revealed, the faces had changed.
All around the world, throughout all of history, the dominant form of society has been an oligarchy of elitists who control a submissive society of slaves, serfs, or peasants.
America is such an exception to that rule. And we’re so close to losing it.
With respect to governance and capitalism, I for one am darn certain I am absolutely right and everyone who opposes me is wrong (with respect to the Leftists in comparison) but the difference is, my ideas in which I believe are in alignment with individual rights and freedoms contrast theirs which are not.
Of course, the Left who I contrast with will attempt to define “individual rights and freedoms” in such a way as to validate their own tyrannical views (such as “you don’t have individual rights and freedoms if you don’t have the same amount of money or property as others”)
Hahahaha...never heard that part of that story...
The coming CW aka CW2 will be much, much worse. There is little to no geographic separation of the warring parties. Neighbor against neighbor in almost every town in the USA. Think Yugoslavia in the early 90s on a much broader scale. Mass atrocities, tons of irregulars engaged in asymmetrical warfare, assassinations, bombings, etc. The first civil war had a modicum of honor and rules of war while intact the coming calamity will have none of that.
Im not sure we fully understand that of which we are in the end of the beginning stages. Even a few years ago, I thought this a low probability, but alas... the die is cast.
We need to take away all of the special exceptions from the tech industry and force them to play by the rules that all companies play by.
If we go down that road now, it will be even worse because there will be no such thing as a geographical delineation to which people may migrate or flee too.
