Shepard Smith returns to TV as he renews hostilities with Donald Trump

On Wednesday, Smith opened his show calling out the president's comments during Tuesday night's debate. He said Trump 'called into question the heart of our democracy'. Smith also noted 'the president told a group of white supremacists...to stand back and stand by' and how Biden called Trump 'a racist, a liar, a clown'.

He opened his show with no music, arguing the debate had been 'noise' and ended the evening by revealing a CNBC poll found 53 per cent of those asked thought Joe Biden did best in the debate, compared to just 29 per cent for the president.

His ratings were disastrous on Fox. Hope they continue on CNBC.

Where are all these white supremacists? I never see pictures of them on TV, just BLM and Antifa rioters. These "white supremacists" are simply straw men created by the Left to deflect from the destruction and chaos created by the BLM and Antifa.

The first time I ever saw Shep Smith on TV was when I was watching his news coverage of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. I use the term “news coverage” loosely because what I witnessed on TV that day was an embarrassment that wasn’t “news” at all. It was nothing but endless sensationalist ranting by a homosexual freak about totally unsubstantiated stories combined with pathetic ignorance about basic facts of nature — from zany stories about cannibalism in the Superdome to his wild speculation that perhaps the flood waters would never stop rising.

I still find it hard to believe that Freepers used to post threads about pressuring cable and satellite TV companies to carry Fox News because so many of them refused for do so early on. I wouldn’t let my dog watch the sh!t that passes for “news” and “political commentary” on that network.

Shep’s only real talents...once you had some spectacular event start up (terror episode, building collapse, plane crash, etc)...he could drill down for an hour and not go off on some crazy speculation business. He knew how to lay out facts, and simply stay on them.
