The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate. Last nights debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues. The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly.
The Commission is grateful to Chris Wallace for the professionalism and skill he brought to last nights debate and intends to ensure that additional tools to maintain order are in place for the remaining debates.

Here's my suggestion for change: 1) No Moderator 2) Have a time keeper 3) Candidate #1 gets 2 minutes to discuss topic 4) Candidate #2 gets 1 minute to comment, challenge, or question 5) Candidate #1 gets 30 seconds to respond 6) Candidate #2 begins with 2 minutes to discuss topic....

Eliminate the commission!

No agreement to any changes unless there is testing for drugs and checking for electronic devices.

Like the Lincoln-Douglas debates, except they had 60 minutes for the first speaker, 90 minutes for the second, and finally 30 minutes for the first speaker's rebuttal. Now that we have shorter atten -- squirrel!

#1 = test for electronic devices.
#2 = drug test for all.

The question is...will the republicans finally get equality in moderators? One republican moderator for every one democrat moderator.

This commission is part of the DC Swamp
Its Trumps choice to play by this commissions rules. I thought he went to DC to drain the swamp, not to dance to their rules.

Exactly, you need to admit to the problem before a solution can be reached.

Eliminate the commission
The commission is part of the swamp. Its mission is to restrict what issues can be discussed so that no candidate threatens the swamps starus and status quo. Why is Trump allowing this commission to have any part in the election process, let alone call the shots for the debates?

You have won the topic.
