I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for decades. The cops there are not the best, and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) is worse
I think the video is released quickly because Brad and the police didn’t shoot any bullets. Though Brad shirtless and wearing shorts was holding a beer can. Then he put the beer can down. Brad didn’t have any weapons so I don’t know why the police had to tackle him.
This is like the Roger Stone overkill. Plus, an army of click trolls were immediately all over the DM article claiming the officer told him 5 times to get down, when in actuality Brad was facing another officer engaged in a conversation with him, with his hands in full view. The officer is telling him ”Relax, relax”, when suddenly, another officer shouts barely comprehensibly, “Geddahnnagroun! Geddahnnagroun!“ and tackles him onto the concrete. This is a set-up. Someone needs to examine the wife’s cellphone and bank account.
They know who he is. This is probably about politics because the country is very ill

Well the initial contact with the FLPD was very good but there is always one Hyper Aggressive cop in the bunch. I guess that cop knows nothing about deescalating the problem.
He’s a reason the public has a distrust of the Police.
There was NO reason to tackle Parscale knocking him on his back striking the pavement. I’ll bet Parscale suffered some abrasions on his back and knees following that impact. There was No need for that as Parscale had come out of the house and was showing No signs of aggression toward anyone.
The Police could have searched him and cuffed him while he was standing up.
As I said the initial Officer who spoke to Parscale did the job properly unlike the aggressive cop at the end.
