Well the initial contact with the FLPD was very good but there is always one Hyper Aggressive cop in the bunch. I guess that cop knows nothing about deescalating the problem.
He’s a reason the public has a distrust of the Police.
There was NO reason to tackle Parscale knocking him on his back striking the pavement. I’ll bet Parscale suffered some abrasions on his back and knees following that impact. There was No need for that as Parscale had come out of the house and was showing No signs of aggression toward anyone.
The Police could have searched him and cuffed him while he was standing up.
As I said the initial Officer who spoke to Parscale did the job properly unlike the aggressive cop at the end.

I DO respect Law Enforcement Officers, but that was an over-the-top response to a barefoot, open palmed, carrying a single can, and compliant man who was reportedly in crisis.

Damn right he’s lucky. Cops were really sneaky. The one guy drew him out, talking sweetly so the other cop could blindside him. I don’t care anyway. The guy is stupid for having a crazy wife he can’t manage. Yep. I said it.

Pssh. All the cops present knew the plan was to tackle the guy.
