Sarah Palin apparently still has a lot of friends/voters in Alaska.
A couple of private focus groups paid for by Senator Lisa Murkowski, probably showed Lisa getting her butt kicked in an election between Sarah and Lisa with this issue.
Senator Susan Collins should, also, change her mind, and vote to confirm Amy Barrett. Doing so would, also, increase her chances of being re-elected. It’s important to not let the Democrats take over the U.S. Senate, in case the balance of political power is very close during the general election.

I think Sarah Palin’s announcement that if Murky failed to vote to confirm Judge Barrett; she, Sarah would consider running against Murky when next she’s up for reelection. I think that’s what “brought Murky to her milk”, as we used to say down on the farm.
