Six people were killed Saturday, after they fell into a cesspool in the Hebron area, the Palestinian Authoritys security department reported.
The remains of five people, all members of the same family, were pulled out of a cesspool in the village of Deir al-Asal, west of Hebron in the Judea area, PA police spokesperson Loai Irzeiqat said Saturday. A sixth person was pulled from the cesspool alive but in critical condition. The sixth victim was evacuated to an Israeli hospital, but was later declared dead.
Palestinian Authority officials said that the immediate circumstances of the deaths were not clear, adding that a probe into the incident ...

In June 2016, a mother and her daughter were found deceased in their still-running 2006 Porsche Cayenne SUV against a guardrail on Florida’s Turnpike, initially thought to be victims of carbon monoxide poisoning.[65][66] Their deaths remained unexplained as the medical examiner waited for results of toxicology tests on the victims,[67] until urine tests revealed that hydrogen sulfide was the cause of death. A report from the Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner’s Office indicated that toxic fumes came from the Porsche’s starter battery, located under the front passenger seat.[68][69]
They collude.
“fell”? No way.
But many of the fighters and children who escaped the Warsaw Ghetto did so through the sewers, and they were a regular venue for running messages and supplies from outside the ghetto.
Sorry, prayers for the victims' family...
A sh@tty way to die
Yikes! I owned a late 1980s Mitsubishi SUV that had the battery under the driver's seat. I had to flip over the seat and remove a hatch to access the battery. The insulation wasn't very good. About 20 years ago I donated it when the battery couldn't keep a charge and the engine was having problems. To think that battery fumes could have done me in is scary. All my other cars have the battery far away from the passenger area.
ff
Yeah I was wondering myself how 6 people managed to fall into a cesspool.
As long as the gas doesn’t build up, it’s not a problem.
The vent system for the battery gases in the Porsche was not set up correctly, so instead of venting to the outside, they were venting inside. It was not a factory issue, but a replacement battery issue. Whoever replaced the battery used an incorrect battery and did not install it properly.
My brother’s 2015 Jeep has the battery under the passenger seat, but it is properly vented to the outside.
So those of you who have a battery inside your car, make sure it is the correct battery and if it requires venting, the the vent system is connected and working.
1. Methane lighter than airfloats away.
2. Decomposition of biological materials produces hydrogen sulfide.
I had my mobile back in the day.
The battery was behind the passenger seat.
The rusted out floorboards guaranteed plenty of ventilation.
And that was some toxic shit.
Prayers up just because of the suffering they had to endure.
