If former President Ronald Reagan were now in office, does anyone who lived during his remarkable modern presidency believe that "The Gipper" would not have taken strong action to hold the Communist Chinese accountable for unleashing what was likely a bioweapon, causing death and destruction in our nation and globally?! Does anyone also think that Reagan would have gone more than 24 hours in taking charge of local police and other law enforcement and put down what is a modern-day Bolshevik revolution to overthrow the vision and creation of our Founding Fathers on July 4, 1776, in my birthplace and the country's birthplace of Philadelphia?! The answer to both questions is a resounding no!
Over the last weeks in particular, I have engaged in discussions with some of my self-professed conservative friends who continue to maintain that what the president is doing, or should I say not doing, in particular with regard to the violence in the streets, is politically shrewd. By putting the onus on local and state officials to quell the violence in major cities and then telling the American people that he must be asked to send federal forces in to lock up the "Bolsheviks," they cynically argue, The Donald is shrewdly harming the political prospects of not just Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but all Democrats this fall. But cynical political ploys like this have not stopped the looting, burning, maiming and killings of not just the police, property and person, but ordinary citizens, including very young children!

He will after re-election. I think a few things will happen...letting go of Fauci and a reconfiguring at the CDC and other agencies that have created a real fustercluck of this Covid-19 fiasco, active involvement by Federal law enforcement to investigate\arrest\prosecute Antifa like we did in the 1960’s with the KKK and Black Panthers. Move actively forward on title IV Financial Aid reform, cutting off the Federal money to universities for BS majors(breeding grounds for insurrection). Tax cuts and using the bully pulpit to drag blacks\latinos off the welfare plantation by aggressive efforts to reform and defund public entitlements like foodstamps,\WIC and SSDI. this could also mean the semi-permanent application of military assets to those areas where lawlessness runs rampant. Reform of drug laws which is sorely needed.
For the record, I normally agree with Klayman. But, on this article I don’t. Why? Because I don’t think you can compare American Society, and particularly the National media, to 31 years ago.
Putting “responsibility” where it properly should be is IMPORTANT and even more so in this election year. The Dims now OWN the looting, rioting and murders despite the best efforts of our contemptible MSM.

While I agree that Trump will act more forcefully against the rioters if re-elected, I also believe that many Americans are fed up with the rioters and the police now hobbled by leftist local officials being being unable to protect them. I expect that local militias will be organized and it will be open season on rioters. Imagine the reaction of Antifa thugs when trained snipers take out their leaders.

I loved President Reagan, and have framed letters from the White House that prove it. But President Trump is more feisty than President Reagan ever was and has stood up to the Chinese more than any other recent President. The CDC just said that Covid-19 has a .26% fatality rate, that is 8-15x Lower than the “estimates” we have been subjected to all year. College age people are twice as likely to die from being hit by lighting. We have been subjected to non-stop BS and exaggerations all year long. This virus was clearly some sort of screw up by the Chinese, but seriously, does a virus that produces no symptoms in most people under 50 sound like a “bioweapon”?
Klayman is right. I can’t picture Reagan doing any of this. He fought commies, he didn’t let them run wild in the streets for months to score cheap political points.
If that happens the FBI will arrest them all and they will be prosecuted to the further extent of the law like they did with Kyle Rittenhouse. They’re mad that they haven’t been able to do this already.

There are some problems with use of the Insurrection Act by DJT. One cannot know how the Military will react. The Pentagon has used its retired surrogates to suggest that the military will not obey the Commander in Chief if he uses the Act. That in itself, if carried out, is a major Insurrection and could lead to real guns and maneuver fighting within and against the Army or the opposition of one Arm against another, the marines vs the Army or some such. At any event it should signal that the Nation has entered a new phase, perhaps a formal transition to Empire. If Trump survives such an action then he will be a de facto dictator as would be any replacement brought on by a military rebellion. What he chooses to do with that status is only to be guessed at but it will be better for national survival in something imitating a Republic through a few more years than any alternative then possible.
