Hes serving hard time for hard partying.
A Maryland man was sentenced Friday to a year in prison for hosting two parties in defiance of the states coronavirus orders barring large gatherings, a local Fox affiliate reported.
Shawn Marshall Myers, 42, had 50 to 60 people over in his Hughesville home for the first bash he threw on March 22, according to the Charles County Sheriffs Office.
When officers arrived to shut down the soiree, Myers was argumentative but eventually agreed to disband his party, the county States Attorney alleged.
But he went right back to raging, throwing another party with more than 50 people less than a week later on March 27, the station reported.

Beyond being argumentative, Myers directed his guests to stay in defiance of [Gov. Larry Hogans] orders and the officers lawful orders to disband the party.

None of the protesting terrorists are in jail.
Its not about the Maryland declaration of rights. The people of Maryland gave this man the power to govern. We as a society have laws to keep the peace. You dont like a law? So hiu give the people who keep the peace a load of sht? You cant pick and chose which laws pr orders you want to obey and not expect consequences.and elwcted offical declared a state of emergency. People are required to follow his instrutions. We have a voting system. Elect people who will change the law. Dont pile on the police for doing their jobs. Some of yiu all give the left a lot of ammo and sound exactly like blm. No justice nopeace for this guy who violated a lawful command. P. S. He didnt have the right to party. Those rights were suspended by a legally elected offical. Get off your “ I got rights”bullshit horse, some of you sound alot like sovereign citizens.

Art. 8. That the Legislative, Executive and Judicial powers of Government ought to be forever separate and distinct from each other; and no person exercising the functions of one of said Departments shall assume or discharge the duties of any other.
The governor cannot makeup a law. He has not the right nor the authority. It’s pretend and illegal. You lose on that point.
Art. 44. That the provisions of the Constitution of the United States, and of this State, apply, as well in time of war, as in time of peace; and any departure therefrom, or violation thereof, under the plea of necessity, or any other plea, is subversive of good Government, and tends to anarchy and despotism.
NOTHING, not even an “emergency” overrides the rules. NOTHING.
You lose again.
Honor those who serve. I support our men and women of law enforcement.
That's pretty much all you need isn't it?
You dont have the right to pick and chose which laws you want to follow. A civilized society doesn’t exist if we practice anarchy. And thats what you are advocating. i have personal knowledge of the situation. The man is an asshole, was well known to neighbors and the police as being a problem. He wad told a week earlier to break it up. He had another party . These werent friends, it was a kegger he charged for. He was told to break it up and could have stayed out of jail. Its your right to support a jack ass. But me and my house obey the law and until such time as they do load people onto box cars or start harassing people for no good reason. Ill obey the law.
Abbott is an idiot, do not expect anything sane coming from (big) Gov in Texas.
I would of done the same thing. We had a sweet sixteen party back in March when we were first shut down (FL). We have had lots of other parties since.
I will never wear a mask again. F*ck um. oh and I don’t and wont wear one.
You will make a fine serf.
The governors orders are not law. The general assembly did not write a bill and vote on it. The Governor did not sign it. His orders are not law no matter how much you may think they are.
Perhaps you need to watch this and familiarize yourself with the simple process
