Me too. I don’t think Pence is a stealth attack force on Trump, as some people here do. He’s simply weak.
Noem is somebody to watch, though. She’s got all her ducks in a row, doesn’t let the press or anybody else get away with their loose statements and implications, and can handle those horrible media witches.
IMO Pence inexplicably failed to grasp the fact that MESSAGE CONTROL was going to be far and away his most important job as head of the task force.
Instead he got himself entangled in the minutia of PPE supply chains and allowed the likes of Tony Fauci and the CDC webmaster to go rogue.
The country would be pretty much back to normal by now if Pence would have kept control of the messaging.

The Sturgis rally draws people from all over the country. They don’t sign a registry or need tickets. So how would anyone track down 350,000 nameless people from the four corners of the USA, to determine how many of them had contracted WuFlu? And how would they begin to establish that it was the rally that exposed them and not some other source?

That's exactly right. IF he couldn't handle it himself he should have appointed someone to do it. That leads me to believe that he's either incompetent at best in expressing a viewpoint that is a political winner or complicit in undermining him.
