The truth matters, at least it appears to with Charles Barkley. The basketball legend is once again speaking out, this time about the police shooting of Breonna Taylor. While essentially everyone else in the sports community is afraid to say anything that deviates one millimeter from the Black Lives Matter narrative, Barkley appears to know some of the details leading up to Taylor's death and isn't afraid to share his thoughts.
On Thursday night during the TNT pregame show for game four of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, Barkley told Shaquille O'Neal that he does not consider the death of Breonna Taylor to be in the same vein as other high-profile shootings.
Turns out the detectives had good reason to suspect Taylor and her boyfriend were involved in the drug business and were able to obtain a warrant to search Taylor's apartment. After the police knocked on the door and announced their entry, Taylor's boyfriend began shooting at the officers, striking one officer in the leg. The police returned fire and Taylor was shot and killed in the gun battle.
Sad that a young woman lost her life, but her boyfriend didn't seem to care about her life when he began firing his weapon at police officers.
"And I just feel bad that the young lady lost her life," Barkley continued. "But we do have to take into account that her boyfriend shot at the cops and shot a cop. So like I say, even though I am really sorry she lost her life, I just don't think we can put this in the same situation as George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery."

Barkley never hesitated to speak out. Lots more of us should do the same.
The BLM picked the wrong horse and is now stuck with it.
Karmic.
I disagree with Charles most of the time but do respect him
Announcing entry might be insufficient to a man sound asleep at 1am.
The police would need to shout repeatedly to ensure their safety.
Shaq, too.
“Shaquille O’Neal agreed with Barkley’s assessment.”
I always confuse him with Gnarls Barkley.
“I remember, I remember when I lost my mind. There was somewthing so pleasant about that place. ...”

This really is an important point. The way my house is set up i would not hear this initially and probably just pump a shotgun through the door at the rukus outside as suggested by Biden.
REPEAT:
1. THE POLICE KNOCKED and ANNOUNCED THEY WERE POLICE SEVERAL TIMES.
2. THE BOYFRIEND OPENED FIRE ON POLICE.
I feel the same sympathy for Breonna that I would for her had she drank too much, drove fast and accidentally hit a tree. I would be sympathetic, but not blame the booze, car or tree.
She made stupid decisions. She had one drug dealer boyfriend that the police were after, enough to have her apartment and name on the warrant. Then she moved onto another loser who shot at the police, AFTER they had identified themselves. The police are no more guilty than the alcohol, fast car and tree.
“probably just pump a shotgun through the door at the ruckus outside as suggested by Biden.”
You forgot the /s tag, right?
NO, its not comparable to George Floyd, except that its an equally phony narrative.
George Floyd at 11 nanograms of Fentanyl in his blood. An appropriate amount for hospital analgesic purposes is 0.6-2.0 nanograms. He also had 19 ng of methamphetamines in his blood, which indicates he had taken the a large dose within a few hours of his death.
Also from the autopsy: No injuries of anterior muscles of neck or laryngeal structures were found.
Floyd also had 90% blocked right coronary artery and 75% blocked other arteries.

Speaking on NBA on TNT, the former Auburn University standout turned NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley also dismissed recent efforts to defund the police.
You know, I hear these fools on TV talking about defund the police and things like that. We need police reform and prison reform and things like that.
Because you know, who aint gonna defund the cops? White neighborhoods and rich neighborhoods.
So that notion they keep saying that - Im like, wait a minute.
Who are Black people supposed to call? Ghostbusters? We need police reform.
Like I say, white people — especially rich white people — theyre always gonna have cops, so we need to stop that defund or abolish the cops crap, he said.
So, why isn’t the boyfriend charged with “unintended homicide” or “causing a death during a felony” or what ever the State statute is?
She rented a car in December 2016, then used by the same boyfriend, in which a man was found murdered - shot 8 times - along with bags of drugs and her rental contract in the glove box.
Stupid only very partially describes Breonna Taylor
Allegedly, the banging on the door and their announcing themselves as cops was so loud that is woke up the neighbors. Part of the Grand Jury testimony was sworn statements by neighbors.
BLM couldnt care less. These are excuses for rioting not reasons.
lol. Biden suggested taking a double barreled shot gun to the balcony and firing it in the air to scare off intruders. If you are going to follow Biden's advice, make sure you follow it to the letter. "C'mon, Man."
I didn’t know this. She’s more stupid than I thought. Likely criminal, birds of a feather and all.
